Lusternia is definitely the best MUD I've ever played, and I've been around for quite a while.

I just took my small aethership for a testride to Taurus and got totally blown away by it. It's not often that I get an adrenaline rush from a computer game, but watching the aethermap zoom by me as the Orgarun sped through the slipstream at full speed definitely did it for me. Then I got to experience my first bout of insanity with was positively hilarious with its silly tells and weird things lying around. (And that was only to neurotic, I probably missed the really good stuff)

As frustrating a profession as it can be, I love making furniture as an Artisan. It is fun, really. And I love all the aspects of Glomdoring, it's just wonderful.

I also love how some parts of it turn around and surprise me. For example: I first met Chron and he was naked, arguing with a barghest. Didn't make a great impression. But now he has an AMAZING description.

I also like manses, though I can't afford one yet.

Congrats! This is my first post and I just had to say that this is by far the best MUD I've been in yet. I've tried all four IRE realms and Lusty is my addiction now. I've tried going back to Achaea once... Ne'er again. Lusternia owns my soul. Did I sign that contract in blood? Drat! The RP is amazing, the people are so diverse... Even the ones I can't stand are at least doing what they do for a reason rather than being some mindless twit out for a good time. Anyway, c-ya all around!
