Here's the thing. Nawat is basically a pacifist (Yes, some of you in Serenwilde will notice its similarity to another character that isn't mine - I liked the idea so I stole it from him) and theres a few problems I can see with it remaining viable in the forseeable future for me sadly.

I have to ask... who?
Asarnil2006-03-10 17:59:44
Actually he is referring to a character of mine, about half a dozen people know he is me, and another half a dozen people would recognise him. I just haven't been playing him that much lately - been spending more time on Achaea and Aetolia when i have been loading up zmud than I have Lusty.

You offer them full? But... You're a GA! How can you deal with your job without it? biggrin.gif

Quite well, I'd imagine. Xen has yet to drink at all. unsure.gif

ooh, but drinking is SO fun!
And influencing rocks, and harder stuff yeilds more more esteem. Trying influencing villagers (unamed) then gaurds. Biiig difference. And of course it yeilds less rewards... They aren't going to give you all their gold, are they? But you can steal it off the body...

Ok, here's a question.

Why would you WANT to imbue a 900gold worth ring, or a weapon worth a hundred or so metal?

You would just be offering it and then losing it.

Why not? Maybe someone might feel it would be a further sign of their devotion or something, making a sacrifice like that. Besides, imbuing flowers is all well and good for some of the Divine, but would you really want to make a flower offering to Fain or Raezon if you followed Them? Seems a little odd to me. *G*

I see the #1 problem with influencing at the moment hasn't been mentioned... you can't seduce everyone!
romeo.gif

I don't want to make a friend, I want to put my steamy, sultry seductions to good use! I love the messages for seducing the sensuous denizens, but for every other mindset you don't even try getting them in the sack. sad.gif

It's an outrage I say!

You're doing something wrong if Gorgogs are hard for you. I have a fire weakness, no robes, and about 10 fewer levels than you, and the passive ones are easy. About as much risk as bashing trout.

I said anything HARDER then gorgogs would get me killed, such as catacombs/astral, not that gorgogs get me killed.
Shiri2006-03-15 04:06:12
Gorgogs seem to do magic damage actually, despite the fire-looking things, so we have a resistance, Sylphas.

I was pacifist long before you tongue.gif
Verithrax2006-03-15 05:56:36
Yeah, but I was the first militant, serious, downright annoying pacifist.
Yrael2006-03-15 06:15:06
Ialie was irritating long before you. So very much squeaking.

Yeah, but she wasn't a crazy partisan who wrote books and said things like "Kalo, Munsia and Narsrim are going to be the first against the wall when the revolution comes."

Their big attack is magic, one other their smaller attacks is fire. they also do physical damage as well, as I've noticed a big differance between robes/tower shield/barkskin and without.
Sylphas2006-03-15 07:03:56
Oh, that explains it then. Finally, some use to our resistance besides taunting other Moondancers.

Gorgogs in the cave are insanly easy though with the nymph you can pretty much hunt them at level 50 or 60 if your careful.

In one of my experiments, I managed to obtain a history book from the future. It said:

"Kalo, Munsia and Narsrim were the first against the wall when the revolution came."

And as for people finding it difficult to find things to offer, I've noticed I get a lot of sickles and athames offered to me.
Asarnil2006-03-15 13:08:09
Yeah, thats because you can offer your nature talismans (I found that out fast with Siarllen) after spending about 10k on everything from earrings to studs to weapons and armour.
