Since there seems to be very few transed artisans, I'm just letting you know I'm here. I have an ad up, look for it.

See me for all your throne needs!

You know your going to have a que a mile long for people wanting thrones biggrin.gif
Penelope2006-03-09 13:45:28
Woah, deja vu there Ferlas.

I'm wanting information about thrones if you'd like to tell me what you could in a message or I'll just poke you in game if I see you.
Aiakon2006-03-09 14:24:25
I also want a throne.

I know this might be really bad form, sorry Hazar!

In case others are curious - the lowdown on thrones:

You get an artisan to make one in your manse/guildhall/shop for a frightening cost, and it is tuned to one person. That one person, only, can sit on it to gain a defence of +2 charisma until they die or logout. Other people can sit on it but it will do nothing.

The throne lasts about 250 months, and usually requires about 1000 commodities, most are heavy in one particular item. It takes up a good portion of the room too, so it can't really fit in with a bed, or large table or anything.

In terms of designs, the ones I can see for construction are:
*******************************************************************************

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1177 Public a golden throne
1678 Public a weeping amaranth throne
1891 Public a throne of shimmering moonstone
2500 Dreamcrafters a druidic throne of living wood
*******************************************************************************

I'm not in an organizational cartel at the moment though, so Hazar will have more to offer.

Narsrim2006-03-09 15:18:40

Well, going off the Serenwilde comm prices at the moment (which aren't always the cheapest), the golden throne comes to around 64k. The wood one comes to around 67k.

Usually it comes out a little cheaper, but it really depends on what commodity bargains you can find.
Asarnil2006-03-09 15:35:14
Comes out between 60 and 100k. I spent 96k on my throne in Deepnight, and gave Mell an extra 50k or so for making it.
Richter2006-03-09 17:29:10
Ooh, I want one now.
Soll2006-03-09 18:16:08
wub.gif I got mine made in Starhaven, then had the Artisan use their Golden Seal on it. Wheee! Never need to pay for a throne again, muhahahaheee. ninja.gif
Richter2006-03-09 19:39:11
Golden seal?
Shamarah2006-03-09 21:05:28
They cost a TON but they are 100% worth it.

EDIT: And Avaer, they last longer than 250 months, mine still has over 500 months on it and it's been quite a while since I got it built.
Athana2006-03-09 22:02:48
I just got one built yesterday and I was SO happy I finally found someone able to craft it for me! It costed me 60k total for all the wood (other comms I had lying around in my rift) and it has 600 months on it! biggrin.gif I agree with Sham totally worth it!

Hazar2006-03-09 23:03:59
I can craft a dark throne as well as the ones Avaer listed.

DISCLAIMER:
You may have to spend some time collecting the comms. It takes a lot of them.
Diamondais2006-03-09 23:51:36
What Wardrobe designs are there? ANd a estimate on prices? Im an Artisan but cant craft em and I kinda need one for my family *sigh*
Hazar2006-03-10 00:29:40

a wooden cabinet
a redwood cabinet
an iron cabinet
a darkwood cabinet

Generically take about 200 wood, 10-20 other comms. Note, however, that my artisan is Glom, and bond by their trade laws (i.e., no city enemies, no Seren).
Diamondais2006-03-10 01:07:09
Im safe happy.gif I payed my fine years and years ago when I wanted to join..never got around to that and never rebugged em enough so..Ill look for ya..unless they dont like Celestians now? >.>
