OMG! We just got Comcast Cable, and it's so cool! Love the free channels, all of my favourates! WOO! Anyhow, I noticed the History Channel, and I started to watch it. Many of the programs on it are realy cool. There was something on it about Stalin, and how he was as big a nut case as Hitler...

ANYHOW, now I'm addicted! Come here to offer tips on what programs to watch, and if you're also addicted to a TV channel!

My son is also addicted to the History Channel. There's no help for it. tongue.gif

I'm kind of partial to TNT myself.

Comedy Central, G4-techtv has the occational show thats amusing, although that channel's really gone down the crapper. Discovery channel and animal planet has some pretty neat shows if you're in to the whole educational tv thing.

Worst Jobs in History is pretty good. I think that's on History.

I'm more partial to TLC. Yes, I am a Trading Spaces/What Not to Wear addict. Oh, and the WB. but that's only because I love Gilmore girls.

Gilmore Girls is one of the few shows I won't watch. It makes me vomit a little in my mouth. yuck.gif

You'd be surprised how many people say that. I don't care though.
Acrune2006-03-13 04:58:29

Discovery > History. Also A&E is pretty good.

I watch the history channel like it's my job.

And my friends make fun of me for it <3

I used to also be obsessed with animal planet but that was on vacation once, and once our cable company finally started showing it I didn't want to be a vet any more tongue.gif.

My dad watches stuff like the History Channel and the Discovery Channel. And let me tell you, this man knows everything.
Acrune2006-03-13 22:56:26
Thats the thing about old men. They ALL "know" everything, because what they don't know they make up tongue.gif

Hrm, this is true. Unfortunately, he's been all over the world, has a master's degree, was a college professor among other things, and watches way too much T.V.

I've learned to never play trivial pursuit with him either. I can never win.
