There are three player moderator's, and then the god moderator's. I don't believe it is the job of either of us to be trolling the forums every second of the day - and judging by that quote you posted, it was from 30, 35 minutes ago? Or at least some point recently today?

Our sincerest apologies for not being able to jump on it sooner - obviously, having to spend extra time to moderate small children on the forums should take priority over other things needing to be done, nevermind that all of it is being done in what is otherwise our free time. Some of us still need to do things like work for a living, and attend school, and occasionally have lives beyond being here.

Perhaps you could all stand to grow up just a tad, so we wouldn't need to moderate you. It'd certainly make our lives easier.

Demigods lose essence for most things relating to death, transmigrate costs it, vitae does, so I'd assume lichdom does as well, rendering said skills/vitae useless to us. And I'm not sure where this "hard to leave as a soul stuff" comes from. Loads of people bitch about how easy it supposedly is to escape as a soul after the reforming process begins. I know that if I was fighting liches I'd have plenty of flame/eye sigils handy if I wanted them dead that badly.

Yes, you did detect a hint of sarcasm. I see you followed up with your own sarcasm and even an attack of your own to boot. I understand people have to work, I work for a living myself. What I was pointing out was how many he gets away with, not the particular one he got away with now. That being the case, I was not expecting his post to be cleaned up immediately, I was expecting him to eventually suffer the consequences others have for doing the same thing he does.

It would also be a good idea if you read what you wrote and take a lesson from it yourself.

I don't recall you being a moderator Geb, so it would be rather difficult for you to see when someone is (in this case Jack), or is not punished for their behaviour. Your constant arrogance is draining, and hardly endearing to other players, or those of us who must receive their complaints concerning you, as well.

Perhaps you work for a living. Perhaps you are even an adult, despite how very little you act like one. Neither of these excuse you from your lack of, at the very least, polite behaviour towards your fellow players, or the volunteers who give their time to offer more to you as a player.

Perhaps instead of always jumping on other people for what you think is wrong with them and their actions, you need to look at your own and yourself, first.

Again, you have done the same thing with your own personal attack. I pointed out to you what you have done, but if you can't accept it than that is on you. I go by what I have seen when it comes to who gets away with what and for how long.

I will continue to speak the truth as I see it. You may decide it is your interest to attack me because of that, but it will not stop me from pointing out the bias I see, nor the lack of professionalism on your part.

You are more than entitled to call things as you see them. I'm sure this means you'll be just as willing to allow others to voice their own opinions, thus including My opinions on your behaviour. If I was being unprofessional, I suppose I could simply give you the same punishment Jack has received, rather than both fixing the aforementioned post, and commenting several players could use with shaping up their forum etiquette, yourself included - even though it is apparent you dislike being told this.

I do not try to keep others from speaking their mind. If someone speaks something about me that I do not like, well I can choose to ignore it or respond to it. It is not the fact that anyone responds to anything that should constitute them breaking a rule though. It is the manner in which the person responds that leads to some sort of personal attack on the person or group of people. What you have done is commit those offenses yourself, but I do not expect you to receive any punishment for them.

Now if you desire to punish me for speaking the truth, then go right ahead. You may get cheers from some; others may frown upon you for doing it. That is the nature of these places. What you will not do is cause me to refrain from speaking what I perceive to be the truth, just because you threaten me with some sort of punishment.

I suppose then things will be just lovely, as I believe I have expressly stated no such desire to punish you simply for speaking, unless that is, you are breaking forum rules in doing so. In which case, being told punishment will result from that breaking of forum policy is hardly a threat, but a simple fact.

I don't think she did. Unless, he took the 'grow up' comment personally. Post seemed pretty fair to me.. if slightly acidic.. but then I enjoyed that, and Geb was asking for it a little with his bias allegations.

Since we're happily hijacking, I'll admit that frankly I agree with Viravain. There's no reason why these boards should be nannied. If anyone says something that's particularly over the line, click the report button. Easy enough to do. ... To be honest, I quite enjoy seeing the occasional crudity and a little banter.. and I regard myself as perfectly capable of fighting back when I'm personally attacked. I'm all in favour of less moderation, not more.

I'm in favour of no moderation, but that's because I like taking the piss out of people, and because I'm a hippy.

I've had like three warnings, yanno. The moderators do a perfectly fine job of taking care of pricks like me without The Pushmeister pressurizing them into punishing people.

Also, I didn't defend Sacrifice working as it does because it has plenty of drooling fanboy's to say "NOT OVERPOWERED. DO NOT NERF." without my joining in.

This amongst other reasons is why I am beginning to love Viravain (sorry V - earlier on in your career I didn't like you that much, but you are definitely growing on me). \\

id like to point out that the people who defend lich most saying that for example: shamrah wanting to nerf it is just horrible as he is trying to make people waste more time, are the exact people who spend most of there time ruinging the game for everyone else example: daevos (im refering to the beginning of this topic) daevos rarely suffers any harm and continually causes problems to other people. yes this is combat and thats how its supposed to be but really stop accusing others of doing the same as you.

secondly the the biggest problem i have with magnagora at the moment is the blatent cheating and abuse towards death real example that almost made me quit lusternia: kaervas dies on prime, he dies again on prime, now he is stuck as a soul his corpse has been destroyed no one can rezz him, his only choice is to pray..or so it would seem no instead of praying like all the people he kills he instead thinks its fair for him to qq as a soul wait for over 24 hours untill he can oocly talk to his friends who can then log in at the same time as him and use ixions arty to rezz him much later, this is something i would like peoples opinions on, i personally think it is disgusting, yes we have sacrifice which i have heard complaints about but we use it properly i dont instruct people to log out and wait till someone with sacrifice comes around so they dont have to pray. Magnagorans pray less then most and suffer alot less then most the least they could do is have some decency when they are truely defeated.
