If he actually did do that it is kinda out of bounds, he was issued for it?
I dont understand you example about daevous though?

Are you sure K did that? Anyways if it isn't illegal it was brilliant. I dont complain about praying at all and trust me Thoros has a real passion for watching me pray... Lich is nice to have but if i lich and come back anywhere close to my attackers I have no defenses up so the killing is still bound to happen unless I can scoot fast... I cant stand those stupid spores tho..... sniff it and your so high you float home.... (I probably hate them cuz I dont have them just like people hate lich cuz they dont have lich)
Shamarah2006-03-19 00:12:08
Anyone can get spores, as long as you aren't enemied to one of Serenwilde or Glomdoring.
Even then, it isn't really a problem.

Yeah but still doesnt mean I have any right now.... and I could have used them when you put that phantom illusion on me and made me drown...

How did Viravain attack you, Geb?
I think I'm missing something, I keep overlooking all these attacks... or maybe I'm just too slow to beat editing.
Geb is upset about lich, and is taking it out on poor Viravain there.
Everyone just needs some and or maybe even coffee flavored ice-cream, so they can out and forget about the dozens of purportedly overpowered skills in the game.

Viravain seems to be tapped into every channel in the bloody game, so any time you even express ONE word of dislike for her, you take your life into your own hands. Trust me.

Personally I think spores are too fast and accessable. They need to be changed to have requirements to use, one power and being on a monolith are hardly hinders for them.
Unknown2006-03-19 01:43:18
You need to be able to actually SNORT them as well. (so bonecrushers can stop you)
They are delayed so if you see someone snort you just need to drop a monolith to stop them. They can only send you back to a forested place as well, so the only main application they have is escaping, while other methods are good for traveling or even getting into places.
In addition to every single person being able to 'get spore from circle', which make them just as much of a security risk as an aid to escaping if you are jumped.
Edit:Oh, and it's same plane only, so if you want to use them anywhere other then prime/ethereal you need advance planning. (not that you even -could- use them on earth/water since druids can't forest there)

secondly the the biggest problem i have with magnagora at the moment is the blatent cheating and abuse towards death real example that almost made me quit lusternia: kaervas dies on prime, he dies again on prime, now he is stuck as a soul his corpse has been destroyed no one can rezz him, his only choice is to pray..or so it would seem no instead of praying like all the people he kills he instead thinks its fair for him to qq as a soul wait for over 24 hours untill he can oocly talk to his friends who can then log in at the same time as him and use ixions arty to rezz him much later, this is something i would like peoples opinions on, i personally think it is disgusting, yes we have sacrifice which i have heard complaints about but we use it properly i dont instruct people to log out and wait till someone with sacrifice comes around so they dont have to pray. Magnagorans pray less then most and suffer alot less then most the least they could do is have some decency when they are truely defeated.
Haha, how sad. You nearly quit because I refused to pray as a Titan, what a joke. This is totally unrelated to the topic at hand and is more a retarded attempt at flaming me. From what I've heard people with access to sacrifice do that sort of thing quite often. Thanks for the easy laugh though, nice to know that some people are so pathetic that they'd consider quitting because they didn't get to see someone suffer. And btw, this whole thing happened 2 RL months ago, someone needs to get over it already
Asarnil2006-03-19 02:10:34
Wesmin, your arguments would approach being unbiased if Serenwilde didn't have strict mushroom circle laws which pretty much summed up translate into "Don't leave circles where any Magnagorans can get to them".

Anyone with Mythical Wiccan can summon the circles. You forgot to mention Glomdoring.
I do not know of Glomdoring's policy on summoning circles, but even if they do not summon them often, coupled with the fact that Moondancers keep a constant 5 or so circles avalible to members at all times.
The fact remains you can get them, and can use them, all you need is a non-hostile wiccan. Heck, I've even seen them on sale in shops before.
Torak2006-03-19 02:20:25
I am well aware of the spore requirements. I am also well aware of how easy they are to escape with. They take what a few seconds to snort and go? Most times when you attack they are gone before you regain balance/equil to drop the monolith. This also leads to the fact that they can move one or two rooms and are fine. Yes they are limited to certain areas but that still doesn't stop Seren/Celest from using them constantly. With a little defensive percautions only non enemies can use them so following someone who spores is never an option. Spores are still better then Catacombs and Hermit which take a specific skillset to use.

If we do, we don't enforce them. I see mushroom circles all the time in random places.

Agreed, Ixion's amulet was bought for an extreme amount of credits during the last auction, and has nothing to do with Lich, or Sacrifice, or anything else. The fact that a Magnagorian went to the trouble to get it is irrelavant to this issue.

Someone needs to re-read the covenant.
Though yes, there are rogue Wiccan's as well.. half a dozen active at least, most notable among them are Gwynnie and Marina.

Power: 1 (any)
Maybe if the skill -at least- cost Moonhart/Ravenwood power It would be more understandable to change it into something else, or was only useable BY wiccans, but that's not the case.

You use them, and waste power, to get to gorgog's because you a lazy and don't like walking??? Then break the coven rules by leaving them there? ...don't let Zenji find out or he'll flip on ya.
