Good luck to any fellow residents of the southern coast of the US. I may be spotty over the next few days depending on how the wind blows and other things.
Good luck riding it out, stay safe.

I will be playing -very- scarcely for the coming 1-3 months. I'll be able to get online enough to do my Envoy + Minister business, but I need to let go of GA... and I won't get to test the Nekotai revamp. I should be online on forums a fair bit, so PM me here for whatever.

Company lake trip for annual business meeting, be back on Tuesday you silly gigglesticks.

Celestia's going to be a cold, empty place until Tuesday.

There are some things that are just WAY more important then Lusternia. I'm out for a while. Sorry guys. I might be back to check my shop, thats about it.

It has been one very long ride to get to this point, both IC and OOC, but after a very long decision making process, I've decided that I will no longer be playing Lusternia: Age of Ascension after today. After getting my Masters, I thought things would slow down and would become less hectic. Unfortunately, that is very far from the circumstance. With working 60+ hours a week, both teaching as a professor and working on research at MSU as a researcher and analyst, I find myself coming home completely exhausted. I've tried to fight against it, but with work, real life, and a marriage in the near future, I just don't have the time, the patience, nor the resources to devote to this game anymore. I've played Lusternia since the day it opened and have enjoyed the company of the people I've met immensely. I've also enjoyed the changing scenes and the differing atmosphere found all throughout Lusternia.
To all those who made and will continue to make this an enjoyable experience, I wish you nothing but the best. Among these people, to name a few, would be:
Gwynevere- You're an amazing woman and very much like a daughter to me. Thanks for the endless hours of trading make up secrets and laughing about men in general.
Suhnaye- A wonderful man and one very kind hearted person
Valonah- Sweet and gentle, she will go far. You will go far on your own. Remember our talks
Daem- Though brash, he truly means the best.
Kharaen- A very talented and very funny individual. Good luck in your art!
Deas- A son IC and almost like a son OOC.
Alodia- The only woman I ever knew who could take a boring day and make it fun.
The old Lacostian- One of the main reasons I stayed a rogue for so long.
Estarra- I've watched you take this game from "okay" to "excellent". Very proud of you.
Urazial- Someone who deserves the world. Thanks for keeping me sane during my reign as GM of the Shadowdancers
Kundu- The only man I know who could laugh at a broken limb and then make you talk about it in a philosophical sense.
Arix- Drunken debauchery and all, you have always made me laugh. And I'm not old.
Murphy- The biggest hard ass I've ever met and the biggest teddy bear as well.
Thoros- Funny and witty all in one.
Izekeal- A sweet heart and a true friend to all those who would let him close.
Livictus- Short lived but it was exciting. Good luck.
The original Viravain- The one person who made Glomdoring what it is today. For better or for worse, she did her best and her best is excellent.
Talan- The only apprentice that I took on IC that surpassed the master. Good luck as GA.
Flarya- An extremely talented individual who deserves everything the heart could want.
Emar- He took the world on his shoulders and survived. I admired that.
The Whytetower family and Covenant clan- If it weren't for all of you, I'd have lost my sanity a very long time ago. Thanks for the late night GRE quizes prior to me going for my masters.
Daedalion- Someone who is passionate about his work, as well as about his play. Truly admirable.
The old Priestesses of Naos- Through it was solely player created, it was very entertaining and fun to see you all take it so seriously. Thanks for the many hours of RP.
Ishi and Izi: The two rambunctious and very hyper boys of the Whytetower family. Keep it crazy, you two.
Shayle- In my opinion, she took the Shadowdancers and became the one person in its history to bring it up to the point where it could shine. Thanks for the words of encouragement.
Though this list is short, my heartfelt thanks goes out to everyone I've met throughout the years I've played Lusternia for making the game not only entertaining but challenging. Good luck to all of you and take care.

Well, some of you can't stand me and will cheer, and that's okay! I'll miss a lot of you, and I can only hope I've made some of your playing experiences just a little more fun.
A lot of issues sprung up in the last few days and life just kind of caved in on me. I've got to take care of myself and my family, and I just can't spend time on Lusternia anymore.
The list of people I will miss is too long.
So just a general <3 to the d'Murani and Fain and his posse. You made the game really enjoyable. Hopefully I'll see you some time far in the future. <3 <3 <3

As a heads up, after tuesday night I'll be gone all day wednesday on a Greyhound bus.
I'll be around on thursday, only because I have homework and tests to do online.
Then after thursday night I'm gone all day friday to setup for the wedding I'll be attending, saturday is the wedding and I'm the Maid of Honour, and sunday I'm on a bus all day and night again to come back home to Sault Ste Marie.
I should be back fully on monday afternoon.
I'll bring pictures.

Moving! Hopefully I'll get internet up in the next few days!
Esano2008-10-05 11:44:10
Going on a short holiday until Wednesday (it's currently Sunday night - yay for timezones). Mainly making this post because I just made that post in my combat cost thread, and I want people to know why I'm not responding.
Ryleth2008-10-10 21:26:03
Off to uni, won't be around as much. Though I'll still be around enough to do my job as CL, just more messages, less being always there to grab
Ayisdra2008-10-23 00:34:06
Due to the extreme need to study stuff, I shall not be on as much, probably 30mins-1hr a day (if that). If do you wish (or need...) to talk to me, just PM me on here and I will get it and such.
Aramel2008-10-26 00:43:03
Going to be mostly absent for more than a week (yes, I know I'm absent during the week all the time, so this just means I won't be here next weekend) due to mid-terms and the danger of getting gutted by parents if I mess the tests up -and- play Lusternia at the same time.
Saaga2008-10-29 11:44:18
Alright, so.
In addition to my recent inability in Lusterniaism due to exams and whatnot, Saaga will most likely be inactive for some time still as we (me&fiance) are moving. Getting the keys today and need to have our stuff and this current place ready for the next ones by Monday.
I'm not sure when we get internet running in the new appartment, probably takes a few days at the very least. So, no Saaga for the next week or so! I promise pictures when we have everything in place.

I'm really sorry to have to make a post in this thread so soon, and in complete honesty I thought I had at least another month's worth of time before I'd need to even consider it. I found out on Tuesday this week that I was leaving country on Friday (For me, tomorrow from this post. Actually, I'm gone in about... nine hours.) I'm being deployed to Afghanistan.
Naturally, I really don't know what sort of internet connection, if any, I'll have access to - Even being a Data Marine. So, I'm going to play it safe and assume it'll be next to none. I'm really, really sorry to the Ebonguard especially, as I was hoping very much to see the completion of a couple of projects that'd been passed to me, as well as for not being around much this week. Gear and checking out of my unit sort of took precedence to logging into Lusternia, and I hope that you understand that. I won't be back until June of '09, so whatever happens between now and then, well, damn. I may be able to check in from time to time, I may have a constant connection and continue like normal, or I may not see anything until I get back. Either way, wanted you all to know that I really love my time spent playing and being involved in Lusternia and interacting with the most of you, even if I'm just getting reamed in combat, arguing with you, or whatever.
I'll be logging in one more time tonight to settle some things, and then... well, I'm off. I may post some pictures
Don't change -too- much stuff on me while I'm away, eh? I just got used to all the crazy domoth stuff as it is now!

I'll miss you, Valarien! I'm still doing that portrait of Vala and Ari, you'll see! I hope you get to see it.
Stay safe!
