Didn't know where to really put this, but anyways, you may notice I am a bit more absence as of late. My five-year-old Acer laptop running Vista FINALLY kicked the bucket. I mean, it died. Cascade drive failure. If it was music, it would have been a symphony it was so epic. Like a train wreck I couldn't stop watching. Well, if you haven't read deep into my text, you can tell I am frustrated. Lost a lot of data. Anyways, I will be not around as much until I get a new computer. I am borrowing my mom's old laptop which has a failing battery... Gonna try and get a mac. I am tired of microsoft...

I will of course be popping in as much as I can, but I won't be doing anymore hardcore stuff for the immediate future.

Just a heads up (some of you already know this):

I moved into my new apartment on Monday. It is going to be another week or so before I'm back to my usual haunting. Everyone and their mother also moved back into my tiny college town, so the good folks at Time Warner Cable and Internet are backlogged.

I just got the new computer and it's all configured, and I can get decent internet, but also can take this computer other places and sit for better free wifi. So, I am back up but my time will be weird from now on (aka whenever I can get decent internet)

So! I've already been mostly away for this weekend, being sick and away at my grandparents. This upcoming week though, I'm going to be around but I'm going to be very busy and lots of travel.

Sunday - Visiting my grandma and packing

Monday - Labour Day holidays, packing and visiting the boyfriend

Tuesday - Thursday - Very likely away on a bus to Sault Ste. Marie to sign papers and deal with school stuff

Friday - eh, who knows

Saturday - from the afternoon on I will be at the air port, around 9pm EST I'll be on a plane and starting the flight to the United Kingdom

Sunday - I don't land until 9am GMT, might not get to the University for a few hours, and I'll want to sleep plus I'll be starting school stuff that week, new country, new things, busy!

Due to several colliding family functions, my assistance with an estate sale, and a move that might leave me without internet for a while, I am likely to become more sparse in-game in the coming weeks. I can't say exactly when, or for how long, simply because things can get switched around and rescheduled that suddenly.

So, if I suddenly disappear completely, that just means I'm going to eventually resurface in October.

Until this internet issue clears up, I wont be able to sign on really but I'll be on the forums. Gah.

As of September 20th, I will be leaving for San Diego, California.

I will be heading out to Boot Camp for the United States Marine Corps.

This process is expected to last 13 weeks. Then I will receive a 10 day leave, unless modified by Christmas. From there on will be 54 days of Advanced Infantry Training. From there I get to go to my MOS school.

As far as I know.

This is notice of absence. The character know as Akri is designated as my spokesperson. She is my sister. I will only have contact through letters, no e-mail. If anything needs to be said to me, send it through her.

Aaaand I just pinched a nerve in my right arm, so now I'm really gone until moved and settled. Ta.

Okay, 'hiatus' over. Because who was I kidding, really. This game is my drug.

Won't be around a whole lot for a while, probably till Friday-next Monday.

Family will be visiting the next three days ish. Won't be online as ridiculously often during that period. But knowing me, I'll still make time for the internets.

Some of you may have noticed my time being a bit less of late. Among the need for a small sanity break, my ISP has been changing over to fiber lines in my area making my connection a very fluctuating thing as they have the internet on and off constantly. I won't be improving for a couple weeks either, as I have to do some more certifications for oilfield safety so I can move up the food chain and make even bigger bucks.

I do check messages and what not though so if there is anything desperately needed message Kalin and lemme know. Otherwise there are three great people on the Freedom Council that can assist you with pretty much anything you need.

Might still be gone a day or two more. Down with some serious cold, flu, or whatever for almost a week now. Sitting up is an exercise currently and my laptop's screen's broken and doesn't support lying down mode.
