Yes, but NONE of it mattered. So, you become the archmage of the mage's guild. What does that get you? New things you can do? New plot? Nope. Nothing. At all. The game was so dissappointing to me All of those side quests were pointless and repetitive. They didn't do anything, they were just there to give you more errands to run on. KOTOR, Torment, Fallout 2 - those games had multiple interesting ways to solve each problem, and that was what I was expecting from Morrowind, and that was what I didn't get from Morrowind.

I really hope they make a better game with Oblivion :\\ I'll have to watch a friend play it before deciding if it's worth paying for

It would be nice to have more involvement when you run the guilds, you're right. Delegating guild members and resources in your endeavours would be fun. Some of the quests in the expansions rocked though!

Oblivion will suck terribly.

Personally Morrowind frustrated me because when I was playing it I was thinking, this could be an amazing MMO, if it had any other players. That's what it always felt like to me, someone had made an MMO, and then for some insane reason had made it single-player.

I think the frustration of working so hard in a guild and being rewarded with the same respect that i already had was annoying.

Litterally there was nothing in the game you couldn't get with enough murder, though alledgedly you can lose the game by killing specific people without doing specific actions.
Such as people you need to kill in order to complete a pivotal quest. I think it's only supposed to happen if you screw up the main story line or have fun an go a mass murderin'

Heh heh the few times i've played through the Telvaani quests I always kill the wrong guy for Archmagister, and the Archmagister is ridiculously easy with the Aryon's helping hand or whatever it's called.

Another problem is when you consider the locations of your possible homes, In the middle of nowhere, halfway between two towns though possibly closer than the first, the last is the only one within a reasonable distance though it still can be awkward. Other than that there is a home you can get reasonably close to transport but not to anything nice.

That's why i love my nice lil vivec canton plugin. Of course this also includes various other houses and a quest linking them all. That or my airship

I just took over whatever building I thought would be a good home. The Razor Hole in Balmora ended up being my residence.

And yeah it would be a good mmorpg, or a multiplayer game, but in the interviews I read, they wanted primarily to have a good single player game, and then they didn't want their focus torn between the single player and trying to have multiplayer content. They said they wanted to provide the best game possible, so they didn't add in any extra stuff like that.

Hopefully, someday, we'll have an mmorpg based on the whole world there, and not just in one province, like Morrowind or Cyrodill.

I believe this sums it all up for me.

I cant say Ill ever play (or if I do, enjoy) Oblivion, I just dont get the point to Morrowind, I did play it..I just got horribly bored and walked away from Narids computer and put on a CD as just plain listening to music then was more entertaining. With that said, break times over must return to Tales of Legendia. I hope those of you who like the game enjoy it..
