Has anyone used their summons yet? I um.. haven't. I rarely use Drive either, but that's partially because I'm always thinking there's going to be a boss around the corner.

I abuse the heck out of Chicken Little and my Forms. Best way to do the forms is go to Hollow Bastian, drain all your magic then get to work. Go back to the world map, then go back into Hollow Bastian and repeat. It's how I've managed to level up my forms quite a bit.

I abuse my forms constantly, in fact, I'm ALWAYS out of Mana. Always. I only use one spell, actually, which conveniently takes away my entire bar - Cure!


My Valor has is as beefy as I can make it right now, Wisdom is way behind at level 2, and I've got Master at 4. It's sweeeeeet.


As a side note, I've turned into evil-shadowy Sora about five or six times now, and I'm wondering if I'm really just an evil bastard at my core. Oh well, Shadow-Sora looks cooler anyway

I'm running around worlds now, fixing stuff and making people happy

And hell yes, the big battle after Tron was by far my favorite one in the game so far.

Seriously, killing so many heartless in one big scene was one of the happiest things I've ever done XD

I've played about.. 30-some hours and my Valor is only level 2 and the rest are level one (Master and Wisdom). I don't know.. maybe I should use them more than I do.

You should definitely use your Forms. They're REALLY useful. I smacked that Hydra in Olympus down with Valor.

I've transformed into Anti-Sora about eleven plus times now, it's becoming a regular occurrence. How much is anyone else turning into him? Seriously, it'd be neat if I didn't neat to use the damned reaction commands in the boss battles >.<

XD Two bars down against Sephiroth? You did way better than I would have and I'm like 65. I just walked in to test myself against him to see how he compared to other bosses and um.. let's just say I might be synthing about 20 Defense boosts or something very soon. I'm still not used to the fact that dodge roll doesn't exist in this game so I'll have to practice my guarding and actually use counterguard.

Anti-Sora.. I haven't transformed into him much. I hear if you transform to Final it lessens the times you'll transform into Anti (There's some weird formula out there).

My favorite keyblade depends on what I'm doing at the moment. I love Sweet Memories for my synthing spree (I think I have about 6 ways to have Lucky Lucky up right now), but whenever I'm leveling my drives I always use the Oathkeeper to extent my form. I haven't really been using my drives much so I'm leveling them late in the game. My favorite form has to be Valor because I'm simply used to playing Sora how he is (Plus I don't have Retaliating Slash with the other forms).

Summons.. I need to level those too. I love Genie most of all though. It'd be easier if you could get experience during those tournies.

Ok, I did it, I went ahead and beat the damned game without getting EVERYthing first.

Know why? Because I'm impatient, and I wanted to see how it ended. I'll still do it again and get everything, mind you, but regardless...

I transformed into Final for the first time while I was on the last level, and promptly slew tons of Nobodies, my only issue is how Sora hovers around everywhere like he's on ice, it kinda makes it hard to stick my attacks. On the brighter side, he's all silvery and hurls those keyblades around like they're tiny boomarang-sticks, so I hit everything around me no matter WHO I'm aiming for, woot!


As for my temporary battle report (Until I do all the crap) I've got...

89% Jiminy's journal filled

31% Gummi routes completed (I didn't really do much gummi work)

Never got rescued by Mickey (The hell? Mickey can rescue you?)

Healed my party members 127 times

Transformed into anti sora 9 times (I guess I miscounted, still, he was doing it all the damned time later in the game)

Most used summon was Genie

And most used drive was Valor, with 35 uses

Wooo, now I must go back, anihilate Sephiroth, go beat the crap out of those gummi routes, and gather a buncha treasures and synthesis materials to get Jiminy's journal up.

On the bright side, I was pleased with the ending I got, though I KNOW those people put in extra crap for those who get 100% of everything.

And yeah, trying to fight without dodge roll is a pain in my ass, I miss that. Know what else I miss? Trinities! And Huge mana bar! Yar!

Here's the formula for Anti-Sora from the game guide that I shared with Valarien, but clearly he wasn't paying attention to me...the slacker. This stuff is NOT written by me and I don't claim credit for it.

"Every time Sora changes into Valor, Wisdom or Master Form, there is a chance that he will instead transform into the dark Anti Form. In fact, the more Sora changes Form, the greater the odds of taking on Anti Form become!...

The odds of changing to Anti Form are dictated by 'Anti Points'. Your actions rise and lower your unseen 'Anti Point' total, as do the situations under which you change Form! ....you cannot enter Anti Form with an unconcious ally on the field of by changing into Final Form."

So, those are the rules to changing and here are the formulas.

When you do decide to complete the synth list just get used to having the Lucky Ring, Meteor Staff, Genji Shield, Sweet Memories Keyblade, and as much Lucky Lucky equipped as you can. I was just going through The World That Never Was for twilight stuff and I tried to make it fun by leveling Final Form as much as I could. If you have Drive Boost equipped then just use cure before each fight to make getting your drive meter up easier.

Oh, and um.. be prepared to level a lot if you're looking for synth items. Somehow I'm level 87 just from hunting around for them to get 30/25/20 of each.

Edit: Timeless River = Easiest spot to level Master form. Just keep the Oathkeeper in your main hand and just use your blizzard spell to kill those pesky cars/fat soldiers without circling around them. Then once your MP is out you'll recover your drive bar reaaaaally quick while in master form still. I did that and circled around from the Building Site to Mickey's House and back again.

Err.. another edit. Works just as well with Wisdom Form (and possibly Valor).

Just got the game last weekend because my mom felt I needed something to cheer me up after everything thats going on now. Im in love with it, but..but..Roxas! He dissapeared, hes my favourite character so far in the series. Namine was the one I really liked in the GBA so Ive a thing for Nobodies it seems. I like all the new worlds they added (only at the Hercules stage, first time, so every place has had major changes from the previous that Ive seen) must say the producers and programers of this game did a wonderful job with the whole series.

Was funny when Sora came out of the egg/flower thing Namine put him in and all his clothes were tiny on him.

Mmm, Roxas stays gone like the whole game, or at least up until the point I've gotten to. Probably has something to do with the fact that he's Sora's Nobody. I hope he shows up again.

Meh.. for anyone wanting the secret ending and doing standard mode.. good luck. I got up to 98% completion (Just had a few more Olympus things and Twilight Town things to do in the journal, but it was aggrivating) before I cracked. It'd probably be higher if I bothered to go back and do a limit with Aladdin to finish up the combo attacks section of the journal, but whatever.

Maybe I'll go back and try to complete all those mini-games, but it's a real .

I'll probably just go back with Gameshark cheats and play through the hardest mode after I beat it first time around.

What I find annoying is how every time you do something it adds to the journal. Therefore, every time you do something, there's that bright yellow "NEW!" next to the Journal tab in the menu. It huuuuurts uss!
