Just go as the race you are now try it out have a bit of fun then when your ready chance race, dont need to do it all in one go if its to much for you sweety.
Unknown2006-03-18 18:59:13
Bah I hate half assing something. Like to get everything straight so I know what I plana nd will do. hehe weird like that.
Ashteru2006-03-18 19:13:33
If you want my honest view on it...don't do it.

I could list all things why you shouldn't do it and all why you should. But it changes nothing to the fact. The only thing better as a knight would be bashing, probably...and you'd still lose much of your tankieness.
Unknown2006-03-18 19:17:04
Yeah but being a warrior is to the point of plane stupid to me. I was going to wait for envoys but i will probably be shipped off to sea by that time, and I am sick of being a warrior. Need something new that will at least change things up.

If it seems fun do it!

Whats the main reason if I can ask behind the change anyway, your happy and all with your current guild just your bored or frustrated with the class?

My main reason is that being a warrior is all fun yay, but it's to the point where if i do not have a crap load of gold or credits I can not be that good. And not because of my skills but just my weapons. now i have good ones now, but the point is that there are so many things i have to factor in get and all this crap it's frustraiting and making being a warrior no fun. And I am just sick of the same shit over and over. Been a warrior in all other muds I have played and now this one. Just need something new and fun. Been trying to get a family and stuff going but thats been hard not finding a girl -le sigh- But yeah just want something new. My main concern is a little the lesson loss, but as long as i can get staff and forcefield i could bash the gold back for credits. Or just buy some after prom season is over -swoon-

Just wait until I got some money again. I am going to buy your family, your friends, your house and your dog!

Remember you wont be losing half your lessons because of rituals/ nilism is in the arcana pool which you can convert to the intellect pool for telekensis or teleparthy, I think you would get 80% of the lessons on that or something. But yup your going to lose a lot losing athletics and the weapon skill.

EDIT You get 56% of the lessons from losing a full skillset and wiping the lesson pools blank kinda,

For switching between sister pools its 64% you keep, my mistake

so thats 56+56+64 enough to trans one kill 100% and get another skill to 76% without having to buy any more credits, buy 300 credits and you have 2550 or so lesssons with binding enough to get you tri transed again in all your guild skills

think it'd be 50% for each, so he'd go from two trans skills to one

well illusions are crap right now so I would not bother with them at first. Get the things i need firt then move on to them as time progresses. Either way I will go back to being iffy on combat till i redid half my system or found someone with a mage one i could use. And have to learn the tricks and what not

That shows up everywhere. Changing to mage will not change that. Getting good without credits is harder, period. Not just for knights.
Unknown2006-03-18 20:41:05
well currently been bashing my ass off for gold and such, and have managed to get some just incase, but I will not convert without having at least 50cr

As I said, if you want to bash, you'd just need to trans geomancy itself. Staff is good enough to bash most prime things. If you get Telekinesis and Forcefield, you shouldn't have to worry about anything really.
ferlas2006-03-18 20:45:12
You wont really even need 50 credits, mages need like the least ammout of skills to bash and you would easily get them with that you have at the moment.

But knights do require much more gold spent on them for them to get good than any one else really hazar

True. But the path to 'greatness' will always be harder w/o credits.
Unknown2006-03-18 20:54:10
I am not looking for greatness right this moment just something fun and new. Trying to RP more with this hunt for a wife, and city stuff but it seems no one likes the Airees -weep-
