I don't notice that kind of stuff.

Because one side still insists on killing everything from Glomdoring in Faethorn. Peace would be so easy for you people if you stopped to think about it for 30 seconds.
Lets be serious, Glomdoring just doesn't have a position in Faethorn so how could Serenwilde accept it? I killed Chron earlier (who slew a pixie) and he dropped 2 fae knights.
If Glomdoring weren't so: "We hate the fae, we are going to kill them to tick off Serenwilde" it might be different, but until then, don't expect special treatment.

To be honest, we hate the fae so much that we just banned the slaughter of any fae who do not attack you first of their own free will. Chron happens to be enemied to Faethorn, so the Knights do choose to attack him.
As for the pixie... that's a completely different story.

Attack you first on their own? No Fae do that. All Fae are passive until you attack a neutral one and kill it, thus becoming an enemy (obviously this excludes summoned fae by wiccans).
Had he not broken said rule, they wouldn't attack him so... he's still allowed? how lame.

Chron does not equate to Glomdoring, unfortunately. Chron is vehemently anti-fae, he even fights with shadowdancer barghest. However, he has been ordered to avoid killing any fae from now on. Personally, I would much rather agree with you and have Glomdoring want to enslave as many fae as they can. (Although Chron would say they are being set to their purpose in tending to the natural world, rather than wasted and weakened by the indifference of Serenwilde )
But yeah, he's pretty much disliked by most of Glomdoring for it as much as Serenwilde would. Philosophically, Glomdoring does appear to want to help the fae as much as you do.
Edit: Also, don't assume that everything I've done is with the approval of my leadership, assuming they even know about it.
Xenthos2006-03-20 05:52:33
At this point, yes. Though I definitely am going to be seeking an IC resolution to the matter. (No, 75,000 gold for every member of the Glomdoring enemied to Faethorn is not an IC resolution, especially when for a long time the Avatars only accepted dead fae).
The rule was not in place before. The Avatars even encouraged it.
And I would like to point out that this ban does cover even moonbound fae.

Have you considered asking Mother Night to influence Maeve to maybe make the fine less given the circumstances?

I'm considering a few different things, yes.
I'm actually not so sure that Mother Night would agree to this, however. Other avenues have more chance of success, though it is a possibility.

Good luck.
Although still not attacking someone who murdered in the past isn't really a bad idea either and so simple

Then we would have to differentiate between Fae knights and Moondancer entourages, etc, etc. There was a camp saying "Ban it all," but the end result was just "You're free to defend yourself if they attack you of their own free will." Of course, seduction isn't their own free will, as they're overwhelmed by thoughts of love and adoration and can't think clearly.

Faethorn isn't worthy of its own classification? Maeve will smack you!

We were saying that a fae is a fae, whether it be embraced by Mother Night, or bound by the lies of Mother Moon. So, not really. I don't think she'll smack us for that.

And are Glomdorians allowed to hunt kelpies? *peer*

The way I understood it they're just related to the Fae.
Thanks for reminding me about that whole issue btw.
Unknown2006-03-20 14:08:05
I'm pretty sure they are fae too.
Shyshaeia2006-03-20 15:22:34
Yes the kelpies are definately fae, they followed Queen Maeves orders from time to time...at least in the histories they did.
Shiri2006-03-20 15:26:59
That doesn't preclude the idea that they're simply relatives of the Fae, though.

Uhh... relative to the pooka, the sprite, the pigwidgeon, and so on, yes. Which would still make them fae.
I'b be interested in hearing your argument that they're NOT fae. It seems rather apparent that they are...
