And while we do that, I want dive to be forceable again!

Difference is my 3 combo bashbrain is very unrealiable and has what i belive to be a 10-20% chance, i'll test it but i'd bet my ass it's under 20% that my 3 combo bashbrain works (not it takes me 10 power and about 10 seconds to pull off)
As compared to your 100% unavoidable, INSTANT kill.
Good one snapperhead.

The point I was making was that both are cheap. Both are wrong - and both need changed. This is literally the first time in six (irl) months, I have used cannibalize mana.
The arguments been going on so long because this is the first time you have admitted it was wrong and broken, can I ask if you have put it in the envoy reports yet or?

Did I not say I have put this in envoy reports twice before? Obviously it was included because I thought it was too excessive.
As for the current envoy reports, they were sent in by like January 8th, and then resent in by Feb 25th. Those changes are in coding now (or close to it) so it will be a while before the next envoy report is requested.
ferlas2006-03-26 11:45:34
Ah you didnt say you'd put it in the envoy reports while I was around anyway. Why the arguement then if everyone agrees its stupidly overpowered. So its probally going to get fixed when they finsih the envoys?

If it'll take weeks/months before they're being evaluated, I think we'll be asked to send updated reports again, just like before.

Perhaps. If that happens, it is on my list.

Pooka with a defense would screw me over completely. I rely on it for the basic selection of commands that can give me an edge in combat that I don't normally have being a wiccan, and take that away, and most of my effective hindering goes byebye.
I'd just say widen the range of unforcable commands, not adding a pooka defense.
Emptying quicksilver and phlegmatic hardly qualifies as most of your effective hindering. Furthermore, if an opponent being able to cure screws you over completely, you should maybe look into a new archetype.

Or perhaps not? How about trying and hoping to fix his own? Not everyone chooses a guild because of its combat capability.

Erm, that's hardly effective, no.
Try say... ordering ecologists/knights to sip venoms, little tricks like that that can mess people up a lot. I can get more efficient afflictions like that than I can with Astrology. So perhaps you should think about more practical applications?

I was thinking more of your applications. I've never had you force me to sip poisons.

Plus, I'll only empty vials when people jump me
Otherwise I'll do whatever I can come up with.

Actually, if you have already cannibalized mana, you can't be forced to do it again

What upsets me is that Murphy was all like: oh ya, I'm going to use my uber cheap, broken combo this time.
He blatantly mouthed off that he was going to use something that he agrees isn't fair and isn't balanced. For his arrogance and bs taunting, I decided to teach him a lesson. If you want to be cheap, brag about being cheap - expect it in return.
I love how when people are having a nice civil discussion about possible changes that affect -everybody- you insist on bringing in puny examples of some grudge or argument your having as if its a valid point.

You can't force sleeping? Or sitting? Because I imagine both are as effective as dive.

I'm hearing everything from quirking with the pooka to giving it a defense, all of which may end up solving the problem but nerfing pooka too badly.
The question was asked before and not answered, and I'm really curious about it: Why not just make power feats uncontrolable and call it a day?

Just add some skills to the list of already unforceable abilites and problem solved without to much trouble.
