The new DS version looks like a hand held wind waker(which wasn't that impressive) sailing for a good 4 hours just for one damned island on which I spent 5 minutes really pissed me off. Twilight Princess though looks like it will bump OOT out of the #1 spot. But then again, everyone knows the SNES version was the best .

Obviously, none of you have played Wind Waker, it has two huge male wind gods.
Have, beaten it over ten times. Ill never think of them as Gods because of the previous Zelda games and always think of them as Spirits.
Dont say I dont know Zelda, its something thats been introduced and stuck to me over the years by my father and he is the reason I am an avid fan of the series.
Edit: The last part is not aimed at anyone in particulary.

Torak, you heathen! Wind Waker was awesome, although the sailing did get tedious. Other than that it was fantastic.
Can't wait for Phantom Hourglass.

A Link to the Past is the best one yet, but Wind Waker ruled, and had the best final battle yet. Dual-wielding Ganondorf + bitchin' counter attacks = yes.
Diamondais2006-03-27 03:09:55
After the final battle wasnt too good, just Hyrule finally being destroyed underwater and Link and Tetra sailing away.
Though Ill agree A Link to the Past was awesome, glad they put it on GBA with only minor changes like Link making sounds as he swung his sword and little sidequests like the Riddle one you hear about around the Lumberjacks.

I concur.
And I vote Majora's Mask the worst. So irritating.
I liked Wind Waker though, it was adorable.

It had nothing to do with Zelda, it should not have been titled Legend of Zelda *mutter* stupid game.

Neither did Links awakening, but that didnt make it a bad game, did it?
On the other hand, Majoras mask DID suck.

I enjoyed Majora's Mask...
eh...
A Link To The Past = Best game in SNES and best Zelda game
Also, Ganondorf double sword fight was awesome... Sometimes I do it just for kicks and to test my skills and see how much damage I get... I've only come out with a couple of hits... It's kinda hard to dodge him at the end when you are concentrating on those gold arrows

I'd say Link to the Past was pretty good too. It also had all sorts of little secrets to it.
Saran2006-03-27 17:28:06
I liked Majora's Mask just for the ability to wander around and do random stuff... hehe when I was bored I'd just swim around as a Zora bashing into things and the like.
Also I haven't heard of "The Minish Cap" or "Four Swords Adventures" (i've heard of just "Four Swords") did I miss their release or something?
oh and just wondering... But has anyone else played Graal? It was originally based off of Link to the Past

If I recall correctly, Four Swords was basically a multiplayer version of A Link to the Past, for the Game Boy.
Saran2006-03-27 17:57:40
Adventures is apparently a GC version of the GBA one.
Oh and now I'm stuck, I'm reading the LOTZ timeline

Yeah, A Link to the Past was awesome. Majora's Mask was not the greatest but FUN to mess around in. And the Minish Cap was nice. The only problem I have with the new Zelda games is lack of number of dungeons...Wind Waker was wonderfull but lacked a decent amount of dungeons. Though I did love the battle system, I had so much fun hitting that sword trainer 999 times, heh.
Manjanaia2006-03-27 18:23:45
I adored Ocarina of Time, I was like 8 when I got it, I utterly loved every single second of it. I can't even put in words how good it was.
Soll2006-03-27 19:25:39
I still don't know whether Zelda is male or female.

Nope.
ferlas2006-03-27 19:47:36
OOPs Link is obviously male I ment, zelda is a female princess.
