No one will even tell me what's going on so no one else outside of Serenwilde has a chance in-game. I imagine that's why.
As long as it doesn't release a mini-Kethuru I'm glad they're having some entertaining RP.
Arix2006-03-28 18:54:02
OH, ok, I was just wondering
Narsrim2006-03-28 18:55:05
It isn't a Serenwilde event. It is a Hartstone event.
Arix2006-03-28 18:58:35
It's nice that the Druids are getting some RP.

Yes, I made like super sleuth Sherlock Holmes and deducted that from the whole thread that I have, in fact, read completely up until this VERY post.

QUOTE(Jasper @ Mar 28 2006, 10:06 AM) 274248
Question - what is the point of creating a thread pertaining to a plot which seems to be directly tied to a guild, and only a guild?
The information about the event has only been within the guild - and we feel there is no other reason to involve anyone else, because it seems to be solely meant for the guild.
I am trying not to sound rude here, but again - what is the point?
Umm, apparently people can't read the forums very clearly... I'll try explaining.
on the OFFICIAL LUSTERNIA WEBSITE, there is a blurb about the event, thus the discussion of it on the forums. Nobody has asked the hartstone to reveal anything in any post on this thread, so I'm not sure what your saying.
Its always interesting when there is an event on the website that nobody really knows about ingame, since not all events and such things are posted on the website, even when they are over.
I suspect this is to help increase the active population in the world while many people wait for the envoy changes.
Unknown2006-03-28 19:26:42
The only reason I posted a thread here was because it was posted on Lusternia's public web site, and some people don't read it that often.
I don't post private event logs or anything like that. I'll post stuff that's known for the basin, but I don't post logs that are private or secret. My assumption is, if it's referenced on the Lusternia web site, it is an event meant to be known or be known to the general populace of Lusternia. Otherwise they wouldn't post it.
(Who knows, maybe this was a subtle hint from the admin not for Hartstone to hog it--it might be bigger than them. At the very least I'm surprised the Serenwilde as a whole is not involved.)
Believe me, I know that some people talk too freely on the forums. So I'm not trying to spoil anything.

I was wondering that myself. I was fascinated to see how quickly people reacted to it on the forums instead of in the game. There was a flash of green light over Serenwilde and I saw no reactions to it all. Instead everyone hops onto the forums and starts running around saying "Ooo! Event! I wanna know what's going on! Spill Serenwilders!"
Read up the thread a little and you'll see that good ol Aiakon here spent 40 minutes in dreamform trying to see what the hell was going on.
And Narsrim.. how.. exactly..?
Verithrax2006-03-28 21:35:57
I know I'm going to take flames for this, but hey, I don't care, people.
*puts on asbestos splendour robes*
I'm not going to give you any details, but so far the event has involved a little RP and a lot of boring trying to figure things out. It's poorly designed, and doesn't give us any choice besides push foward the 'plot' or ignore it completely. I also doubt it's anything that affects the Basin as a whole, since development has been pushed back months.

Quit bitching everyone. I hadn't read the website, thus, I got information from this. Now shush, leave Tully alone.

So we have no proof of it's existence, and can only assume it's down to Moondancers being overpowered.
I suggest we remove Moonburst from the game, or make it a new, easier-to-deal-with damage type. Such as... ... 20% fire, 20% magic.
Yes. That's only 40%.

Personally, I think that Ladantine was almost dead before, but hadn't slept to regain health because his attacker hadn't died. You just came in and finished the job.
Diamondais2006-03-28 22:10:55
We dont need to know whats going on, its just odd that if its a Guild only Event that does not -effect- things in the rest of the Commune at least than its kinda odd to post it on the website...my money is seriously on them releasing something that wants to eat the Basin.
We just love the events where things want to eat the Basin..of course we do..

Eh? I've really enjoyed hearing about it - and I got to figure out two of the most obscure items, which was very satisfying. I just wish Elryn wasn't crazy so I could contribute to discussions about it.
Anything that resurrects Hartstone's RP or at least gives it more of a basis from which to build some is a Good Thing.

I wanna see what comes of this damnit! Hmm, perhaps Hart is being strengthened and the Hart v Crow quest will come back to life?
