Is this system for warriors only? Will I be completely screwed if I tried to use it as a Celestine Guardian?

considering It's based partly on Thorgal's system I would say you aren't screwed as a guardian
Either way I'm still buying it as soon as I get 50 credits
Murphy2006-04-03 14:31:23
hell no, the only extra warrior bits are my offensive macroes and echoes which you should not see.
I've totally made the system independant of being a warrior, no warrior based curing or even stacking based on the fact being a warrior means you get extra health

I live on the other side of the globe from Murphy, so between the both of us we should be able to offer technical support around the clock. Just contact me over AIM if you'd like an update or assistance, my current screenname is Hathrael.
Rauros2006-04-03 23:34:11
So who would I pay the 50 credits to, if I had already bought Thorgal's system from long ago? Or do I have to pay the full 100 credits price, since I didn't purchase Thorgal's recent update.
Thorgal2006-04-04 10:27:10
You don't have to pay 100 credits, just the 50 credits to either Murphy or me, we split them 25/25. The only time someone has to pay 100 credits, is when he never bought either mine or Murphy's system.
So if you've ever bought mine or Murphy's system, no matter when, you pay only 50 credits.

*mutter* It's high time that Hathrael was retired and Thorgal came back. Hathrael's a nice guy and all, but he's getting a little old after all.

Can I get a screenshot of the what the interface looks like? I didn't particularly care for the one I got from Thorgal, and I know I can change the layout and all. I'm just curious what it looks like.
Also, is this system "bashing friendly"? For instance, does it have the affliction cures for when a Starsucker on the Water Plane breaks your leg?

If it doesn't i can guarantee that it will be added in record time. its real quick and easy to add in afflictions to this system, part of the reason why i love it so much.

The screen display is brighter but JPG dull it down a bit

hrm your screen resolution makes it look so packed up
I run it at 1280 x 1024 and I find it looks better that way, at first you have a lot of white space but I filled that up with influencing target, debate target, chanting mark, diplomacy mark. (but then I heavily rely on influencing but you can fill it up with other stuff)
so if you don't like murphy's screeny, remember higher resolution means you have a LOT more space to place stuff.

That's exactly how mine looks now. Oh well, guess I'll have to find a way to change it all. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Thanks for the pic, Murphy.
Last question: does it still try to dump all those buffs on you when you log in?
"sip frost"
"sip fire"
"outr kafe"
"eat kafe"
"insomnia"
"unparry"
etc.
Most of the time I just turn off the script to log in...

I would hope that most peole change the login script to something that suites them better.
Ashteru2006-04-04 21:53:51
I actually always find use for those defences...I even added some to it.

I've tried. I don't know how. It's hard coded into his system to automatically put those defenses up.
Unknown2006-04-04 22:36:33
Enter the settings window (triggers, aliases, whatever) and click all. Put in "unparry", then click all classes. Either there will be a script which puts them all up at once, which you can disable, or it puts them up simply becaue you don't already have them up... which would be a bit harder to work around, but possible.
Rauros2006-04-04 22:45:47
It has to do with a state based effect because I don't have the defs up.
Murphy2006-04-05 03:36:21
The system will try to keep you deffed up as best it can. The system will run score and stat upon login to determine your maxhealth and mana, as well as a few other variables.
If you don't like those defs i can make you an alias to disable them, as thorgal and I have both said we offer technical support and help in customising it with things like this.

Murphy is a norti boi! Thats cos I know there is no legitimate reason you need to have PeerGuardian installed.

well you could argue that you use it for add blocking and nothing else
Rauros2006-04-05 11:03:54
What's all this about PeerGuardian? You're not trying to steal my password are you?
