wheel lies here horizontally, tempting those with a taste for risk. With arms
crossed over his pot belly, Goldie the Leprechaun stands brashly here. A wiccan
broom floats here, vibrating with energy.

Elryn your example was a bad one, because Wyrden Wood is very clearly not Etheral forest, which is very clearly NOT Sylvan forest/wood, but they are all still forest. Just like you can interact with butter using fae or butter, etc.

I don't see whats so crazy about noticing a pattern that is suddenly borken for only one type of creature, which is based on the communes and not the area of question. Its not like there are only two creatures and they both have fae in the name or description, its all the fae creatures, even the ones that don't have fae in the description... save the supposed fae silver ladies.

Frosted forest in the Moonhart's silver mist.
Snowflakes float down around you, colouring the world white. Cascades of
silvered mist sweep off the enormous boughs of the Moonhart and fall in
shimmering waterfalls to crown the leaf-barren, almost translucent trees bowed
before her. Ambient light, emanating from the awe-inspiring power of the tree,
creates gentle halos about everything in sight. A light frost edges the crisp,
varied grasses in crystal, and a chill winter's breeze shifts past to stir the
silver mist. Breaking through the dimensions, a planar rift slashes through the
air here. A hornbeam sapling clings tenaciously to the ground here. Reaching up
as high as the eye can see looms the awesome presence of a living totem.
Hovering eerily here is a frost hag, emanating a pale silver glow.

I don't quite catch your drift.

A pale silver glow radiates out from this fae, accompanied by a sense of cold
and an odd mist that surrounds it. Floating inexplicably in the air, the frost
hag observes the area slowly with strange, ghost-like movements. Looking similar
to a banshee, this fae is ephemeral and bodiless in substance, appearing as a
shade almost out of phase with this realm. Pure black hair waves lazily in the
air as if underwater, hiding the face of the hag as it seems to flow through the
air, ever vigilant.
A frost hag appears to be extraordinarily strong.
She is strangely weightless.
She is loyal to the Alliance of Serenwilde.
You see nothing in it.
