KildClient needs some refinement, but it looks like it doesn't have MMUCL's pesky bugs and has some funcionality and interface refinements that are useful (Timers, multi-line input, spell checking). Stay tuned for more details as I try to implement an autosipper in it!

When I started out with muds in general I was using basic java client for ever, my friend finally provked me enough to switch. It was a free ,and good enogh client, called portal gt. I don't know if anyone has heard of that, but it's made bye Axel I think, which is a pretty good shiny progam. It doesn't have much with it but it works for those who don't want to pay the 20 or so bucks for zmud, which was hard getting used to at first.

I used to use Nexus (once upon a Lusternian age... it's been a while since I've played), but I was convinced to switch when it started lagging during a village influencing. I would just get four-page -packets- of information which made the entire endeavour really difficult.

So then I switched to ZMud, 'cause it was a great mix of powerful and user-friendly. When my trial ran out, though, I had to switch to something else -- I'm on a student's wages, after all. Now I'm trying to adapt to MUSHClient. It's not treating me well, but I'm slowly beating it into submission.

To be honest, for a while I used telnet from the terminal because I couldn't find a good Mac MUD client, and a Mac was all I had for a good bit. Then I found one called MUDWalker. It's not great, but it's better than plain, unfiltered telnet. After that, I stumbled upon a wonderful client called Cantrip, and I'm quite content with that.

Why didn't I just use Nexus? Beats the hell outta me.

The TMC list is pretty old and incomplete. I recommend KildClient to anyone who can't use ZMUD, because it's got everything ZMUD has, except for a mapper (Which I don't use anyway)

Hi, do you mean this Portal? http://www.gameaxle.com/
Isn't it something like 25 bucks?
