Stay Geo, but if you go Nihilist, go Tarot. If I had to choose between mugwump and aslaran, I'd go mugwump.

Yea you can deal as a geomancer with just one trans skill but a guardian with just one trans skill has really very few options.

Tarrot looks better than hexes, much more utility better lock downs with aeon, an insta kill and better out of combat usefulness. Just seems to much handier.

nihilist aslaran has the abilitiy to aeon like a mother, which is mean. but wtf, everyone is nihilist aslaran.

or you could just screw all the powergamers and do something kewl like tae'dae nihilist. Now that would pwn.

Ok, now let's assume i had 300 credits unused when the decision time came? what would be the best to do? Would i make it ok with just the three guild skills trans?

Oh if you can trans the 3 guild skills then of course you can be fine and great.

3 guild skills in any guild is pretty good anyway. No matter which guild you pick.

transing three guild skills is like 900 credits, heh >_<

Not to mention 900 is if you start from the bottom in each skill. I'd probably already be trans Nihilism. So that would leave Necromancy and Hexes, which would take about 300-400 credits with the bonus.

I wouldn't advise hexes as a nihilist. Some people try it, but it's just not as good as tarot. Hexes are more useful Moondancers (and I assume Shadowdancers) since they have aeon and other ways of hindering. Most of the nihilists I know that make it far as fighters are tarot users, though.

Astrogaze: You can give pox and like erm burn them....

Hexes are nice but without an aeon effect to stack them your really not going to do anything at all with them.

I started out as a Geomancer and moved to the Nihilists

I am mythical Nihilism, Expert Necromancy and Adept at Tarot...

I still find it easier to do battle as a Nihilist. Don't know, maybe it's just me mellow.gif

What I -can- say however is that I enjoy the battle-style more.

All in all though, I would never choose a guild only by its battke style... I think it would be lame glare.gif
