Dates and prunes? My family never ate those. Though I am living off of Matzah brai(sp?) and matzah pizza.

As for the next day...

The 5th day is Hod of Chesed, translated here as Humility (though I've seen it translated as many other things as well)

"You can often get 'locked' in love, unable to forgive your loved one or bend or compromise your position. Hod introduces the aspect of humilty in lovel the ability to rise above yourself and forgive or give in to othe one youlo ve, just for the sake of love, even if your convinced that your're right. Arrogant love is not real love."

Does love humble me? Can I swallow my pride and reconcile with a loved one with whom I have quarreled?

hmm just thought about the date and prune comment... did you mean the affect that matzah has on you that similar to that of dates and prunes?

Dried up fruits have nothing to do with Pessach as far as I am aware... just matza...

And Daganev, how can you not mention Matzaballs in soup? that's like one of the best things ever made.

Cause I have matzah balls all year round. Not special to pesach for me.

Well... they are not very healthy so I keep'em as a special treat tongue.gif

What is a matzah ball?
Narses2006-04-19 15:28:48
Well... like there's normal flouer, there's Matza flouer(spell?)... which is basicly a really grinded matza.

You take some eggs, break'em and mix'em with the flouer and create balls. These you boil and then you put'em in a soup... they taste great.

As somebodie's uncle always says, if the the matzah ball tastes this good, imagine how the rest of the matzah tastes!

Matzah is flour and water cooked in under 18 minutes (from mixing of flour and water untill taken out of the oven) and cooked at about 500 F so that there is no yeast , and no 'leven'

Matzah balls are how you make them fluffy, and you tend to cook them in chicken soup.

the rest of the Matzah usualy tastes iffy... they don't really taste good.

Yeah, so with the holidays so close to shabbat, and re-chametzing my house I havn't had time to post the rest of the days, should I just stop or keep going?

whatever you feel like doing, hehe
