We did try glide (in the few minutes before we got exploded) but it's not really in the same league. It is handy though! A good change.
EDIT: I'm told flashpoints were nerfed. Ok! Consider that complaint dropped.

Yay for flashpoint nerf. (I'm so fair, agreeing to nerfs on my own skills
)

Amarok2008-03-13 07:05:27
- Entourages will no longer be moveable off balance.
Great...more nerf to Trackers...
Yes I know this affects more than trackers, but still

What does that change exactly mean? I'm thinking it has something to do with the individual balances of the entourage, but that doesn't seem to be very plausible to me.
Shiri2008-03-13 07:38:30
kick rika>>order entourage move n no longer works, I guess?
Rika2008-03-13 07:43:59
Ah, that'd make more sense.
Morgfyre2008-03-13 07:44:57
It deals with player, not mob, entourages. So if I beckon Estarra, and Roark is following her, Roark will not follow her if he is off balance.
Shiri2008-03-13 07:49:45
Bah, I was going to say that second but I thought that was already the case.
Rika2008-03-13 07:55:27
Yeah, so did I. Whenever we're hunting and move when someone is off balance, we always leave them behind. Or is this change just with forced movements as with your beckon example?
Munsia2008-03-13 08:12:45
I'm going to put a shot in the dark and guess this has to the do with the 'ether' off balance movements

I seem to remember Narsrim conjunctio'ing people and them following when off balance. Thus, they are happy, as it was a problem.
Unknown2008-03-13 09:34:11
It is only a problem when you are conjuctiod into an icewalled up limbo while off eq by Narsrim. You do not experiance that.

Given certain Mags have been doing it for a very long time, yeah, Celest players do experience that.

Don't forget Sojiro telling his cohorts to follow me so if I cubixed, they'd all come with (even off-balance). Naughty Sojiro!

Yep, seems a pretty universal sigh of relief will be going up now that it's fixed.

Narsrim doesn't need Conjuctio to get certain people to follow him into an empty room.
