Yeah, because what mortal can resist the siren song of "Awww, come on." tongue.gif

Look, I'm sympathetic to the desire to add ego to the list of things Trueheal fixes. I posted that it should restore ego to Malicia on forums at one point, and don't force me to trudge through the archives to dig up the link. However- in peaced revolts or debating contests (ex: the entire Seal of Justice competition), where power consumption is nearly nil, Celestians will have a huge advantage in being able to instantly regenerate their ego when necessary. They can only do it it once every 90 seconds, but the possibility of escaping the shattered state with impunity exists, for absolutely anyone with the Sacraments skillset. Worse still is the idea that their opponent will still have the same amount of ego, which will certainly be a huge factor in deciding close debating matches.

Now, is that "working as intended?"

The druid champ artis, like the monk champ artis and the cake, are lies.

Yes. I actually used my normal cudgel for combat as champ before it decayed. Just the fact that you can't put sigils on cudgels actually makes the champ arti worse. I was so excited with this announce but ITS A LIE.

Starleaper cooldown is FIVE MINUTES.

SCORE!

This is the only one I have access to right now, but it's awesome sounding:

Meteor - Summon the fury of a falling star.

ASTROLOGY - METEOR

Syntax: ASTROCAST METEOR AT
DRAW ZODIAC IN
Damage Type: 50% Fire, 50% Magical
Damage Source: Magic

Those who study the stars are acutely aware that the celestial bodies in
the heavens are many, and that the planets are but the largest. While
the stars answer the call of none, it is possible - though difficult -
to summon down a meteor from the heavens.

In order to do this, one must first draw a zodiac circle in either salt
or blood upon the ground in a place with a clear view of the heavens.
Though any who study Astrology may draw such a circle, only those with
mastery of the meteor know its grim purpose. Once done, you may call the
fury of the stars upon any transgressor who is affected by a negative
zodiac sphere. The full force of the meteor will depend upon how many
negative zodiac spheres by which the transgressor is affected. The
summoning will consume all of the negative zodiac spheres in the
process.

Additionally, a lesser amount of damage may be done to your personal
enemies who stand too close to the focal point of the summoning.

Something that was brought up-

Is there a reason pureblade slitthroat isn't getting the same treatment?
Diamondais2008-05-07 01:45:11
Why is slit throat a jab now? Doesn't it make more sense as a swing since slit throats are generally slashes? confused.gif
Unknown2008-05-07 01:46:06
To allow Blademasters to get it on lunges, instead of only on hack down.
Shaddus2008-05-07 01:48:05
So, do you need a vial of salt or blood to use meteor?

I'm betting either a vial of salt, or perhaps you can do it at the cost of some hp?

Well, cause my astrologer has vial of blood, and one of sharks blood, wondering if that works

Also, what skill level is that, how far past, say, twincrystal?

Ne slitthroat for BMs is out of control.... You are giving them guaranteed locks. I mean even if an AL or PB could get slitthroats in cleaves and jabs.... They can only apply 1 venom.... while a BM is guaranteed 2 venoms at critical wounds... And at critical they will be pulling slitthroat left and right... and afflicting them with both guaranteed venom strikes...

A can of worms has been opened that soon you will see how OP guaranteed double venoms with slitthroat lunges will show you.... Give it a few days until the decent BMs start to show you just what can happen

I don't understand the starleaper change. That completely killed the ability. Five minute cooldown for flinging a card? Considering that tarot is probably one of the more balanced skillsets, it seems unnecessary. Fix world!

30-60 seconds is fair enough for leaper... but yea 5 minutes is just... wow who thought up 5 whole minutes?
Malicia2008-05-07 02:00:45
Yeah, 10-30 seconds, but 5 minutes? No one will bother except when bashing.
Furien2008-05-07 02:04:50
Meteor comes after Dragon. A fair bit past TwinCrystals.

It uses one regular salt COMMODITY you get from jewelers, or some bit of vialed blood.
Shiri2008-05-07 02:05:34
Ok...new astro skill is BROKEN for SDs. You probably shouldn't be able to move during the casting. There's a reason every other timed insta has that req.
