What does the bad side in Valik whatever do, if anything?
The reward is Kiska attacks you. WOW. Not even a gold reward. Finishing it was more unfulfilling than the facility quest, seriously.

Xavius asked for this? He wanted the change in the first place! Man, my head is spinning.
Like he said in the other post: He asked for something else, it was deemed too complicated. This one was put in instead for us to play around with.
Both of us were literally deluged with complaints, so we just asked that it be reversed while we try to think of a fix that a majority of Crow-users can enjoy. It's not the end of the world! Promise!

There was quite a bit of envoy opposition to both Crucify and Inquisition changes. Crucify was actually shortened more than mugwump bonus did, not sure what happened there. As to Malarious saying it was unopposed, that's because you chopped off the comments Xenthos and a couple others made when you had it on your first "Racial" page, then moved it to the "Nihilist" page, sans comments, then moved it back. That tends to make comments disappear. Inqui soulless was already fine, especially considering the new buff to world tarot.

Wot?
I never did anything to the page the special report page. I moved things from the collab page to my guild page, which is not the same thing. Last I checked there was in fact no opposition. Get your reports straight collab page does not equal the special report, specially if you want to sling mud. That or you are just misinformed/forgetful. I placed things on the page, I never removed them. If someone commented about crucify, it wasnt me that removed them. I may want change, but that wouldnt serve me any purpose (they could just repost..). I wasnt even there for the end of that report, or the submission of the monthly report.
EDIT: And wait, moved something from the page to my guild page and back? Everything I had on the guild page stayed there I didnt move it around. I retype things when I put them in new places when I keep the old (Nihilist page, unless it was removed by Ethelon, should still have all my ideas up)

Ohm, I responded to a bunch of your envoy upgrade suggestions based on the racial speed bonus change. I also made a statement at the end, pointing out that a change in the speed bonus (which only affected a few races) does not mean every skill you had should be upgraded. You even sent me a tell about it, trying to discuss it but I did not have the time nor desire to discuss it at that time. So I don’t know if you removed them or not, but I do have a strong suspicion that you did at least see them.

So why wasn't cosmicfire speeded up? And waning? And staff? And succumb? And lash? And moonburst? And ectoplasm? And web? And sap? And octave? And amissio?
Do you get my point?
Do you get my point?
We asked envoys to give us a report about what tweaks were needed after the racial changes. Since there were actually few suggested tweaks, we decided to give each one more consideration than may actually have in a normal envoy report, thinking this is what the envoys gravely considered and finally resolved on. If sap or lash or ectoplasm or web were to have been included in that report, we would have also considered them as well. As far as cosmic fire, staff, moonburst, etc. that was brought up and we are running tests to see if indeed there are any major discrepancies in damage among the basic bashing skills.

Crucify - 7p - 6 second equi.
The change only sped it up by 1 second, now costs me 5s worth of equ and 7p for my target to receive stun + 700 damage + a state where they need to writhe.
If I could make a personal request it would be to seriously scrap crucify/sacrifice and just give us something - anything else - that would be at least -semi- useful to us.

Well... most of those ideas weren't really resolved on at all. There was just no way to say "Hey, c'mon guys, you're getting out of the scope of this report" and drop them from that report. That comment was definitely raised on almost every single idea, but if the person doesn't want to drop it... without a veto, it gets included. For the most part, losing the veto helps *us* a lot, but it does mean that when you guys get things, there may not be any envoy backing to the idea at all.

What? I was pointing out that there really wasn't any envoy backing for the majority of those suggestions, and why they were included anyways. Not having a veto makes our job a lot easier, but it does shift the burden to the Admin since the things they're getting are no longer really Envoy-vetted. (It's probably not a bad thing that it's pointed out this early and with this minor a report, though)

Considering every envoy that I've heard from now is against this change and has been against it, I honestly don't see why it hasn't been changed yet.

I tried to emphasize this before. It's not about damage discrepancies at all, in any way, shape, or form. The problem is entirely speed where a certain race, mugwump, was required to keep up for normal moonburst, cosmic fire, staff and bashing attacks. Now there is no means to keep up with speed even if one were to be a mugwump.

Subj: Necroscream Updates!
Based on some feedback on the forums, we have asked the envoys to
identify what individual skillsets may need attention and work with us
on tweaking them. The first such skillset is Necroscream (the next ones
up are Wildarrane and Ecology). We've given Necroscream the following
modifications:
- Undead Blues - Those who hear this song should be considered undead
where construct powers (i.e., crypt) are concerned.
- TortureSong - Changed so that writhing out of most physical bonds will
cause bleeding.
- SickeningPlague - Changed so that it gives more types of 'plague
afflictions' (same as contagion afflictions).
- DespairWeb - The length of time this extends writhe time has been
slightly boosted.
- QueensLament - No longer stuns, and power cost dropped to 2.
- DarkMaster - Once you get the darkmaster prompt, if the next action
fails due to a lack of equilibrium, you should not lose the prompt.
- CarillonKnell - Changed so that plague afflictions cause damage to the
health.
- BlackDeath - New high stanza song that makes it harder to cure the
"plague afflictions".
Penned by My hand on the 9th of Dvarsh, in the year 208 CE.

Explain? I don't know what that means.

"plague afflictions".
Could someone clarify what 'harder to cure' specifically means? Ie. cures sometimes fail? Time delay on cures?

Has Sobbing Dread and Wrathful Canticle always been in Necroscream?

Sometimes fails was the original idea, though... some of our skills aren't working so it's hard to actually test.
