What more info is there to give?

You envenom your familiar with 5 poisons, order it to sting your target, and it does so every 5 seconds till the venoms are used up. Venoms are shruggable, better resilience = better shrugging. Costs 3 power to do it, and snakebane doesn't seem to give much gaurantee of improvement given testing. I mean I am sure it does improve, but I hit a statistical anomaly and the people I tested on shrugged more with snakebane up than with it not up.

Now I know how it works, and how it's different from normal fetish poisoning wink.gif

Are the cloth issues fixed yet?
Are the stealth issues fixed yet?
Are the chaindrag issues fixed yet?

You Mags always complain about fixing other skills but you never want to work on fixing your own.

How about give the admin a chance eh? We are still reporting all the problems that need working on with Wildarrane so Chill!
Kaervas2008-06-24 23:29:27
Stealth has issues? And somehow I doubt any of the issues you're thinking of are as insane as 2.5k passive damage.

Chaindrag was fixed, actually. It used to ignore balance and eq.

People are just getting impatient about this wildarrane fix, and rightfully so.
Shiri2008-06-25 00:42:00
They're not, but there's a lot more of them, Asmodea is quite right actually. Sometimes I think admitting our OP stuff is OP gets us screwed over more than denying it gets Mag stuff fixed. doh.gif

I'm intruiged. What does Mag have that's OP? Chaindrag and rush are on your list, I know that much.

Add lich for another example, which never got fixed until Estarra had to intervene directly.

There are a lot of things that a lot of people want to change that don't get changed until an appropriate replacement idea comes around. See: sap, choke, lich, rebirth, transmigrate, hyperactive, etc.

Well, now lich sucks unless you are an archlich. Is there anything currently OP?

Psh, I'm not starting a fight. I really am curious. My list of things that are truly OP is reasonably short...and none are Mag specific. Seren didn't have any either until this wilderrane nonsense. Choke, Inquisition, Trueheal, that sorta stuff.

It's not so much the stat bonuses that Celenwilde and Friends are annoyed about, it's the resurrection skill in general. You die, and you get to sneak away really quickly (sometimes not) and rezz, defup in safety and just jump back into the fight. You've got two lives. Everyone else is forced to use vitae- and when they're the singular target of a gank squad, just popping back up in the same spot after death is only going to make it worse.

We've basically got to kill you twice before you're actually gone, and when we're attacking we sometimes can't kill you fast enough before our own group sustains too much casualties to be rendered ineffective.

^Disclaimer, above is personal take on this, please have mercy MFDB

We come back powerless, off eq for a lengthy amount of time, and defenseless. I'd venture to say lich causes me to die twice just as often as it allows me to escape, as far as conflict is concerned. Non archliches also have to deal with lower stats 60% of the time. It's not bad, it's just nothing special anymore. Especially considering Mag has no other way to rezz.

Wildarrane's passive is now 1.25k? Still too high for something that isn't in a demesne. It shouldn't be any higher than the Cantor passive damage.
Unknown2008-06-25 03:13:41
Well to be fair, the 1.2k passive damage is from Xiel the int/cha stacked, artied demigod wilde elfen. We've already got crazy painful demi warriors, so it shouldn't be anything surprising anymore. Expending effort/time to get maxed out gives you great (really painful) results.

... even so, 1.2k passive stacked on top of Bard damage/affs is still wrong. Period. It's still outdamaging/afflicting artifacted Demigod warriors (who take quite a few more credits to artifact, too).
Shiri2008-06-25 03:16:00
Yeah. Kuroi, the ordinary individual will now be doing 400 with it, with all his spirits (i.e he's been standing still a minute or so). Sad. Probably needed to be less heavily %-based or something rather than flat halved, but oh well.

EDIT: noway.gif No it's not outdamaging demigod warriors.
Unknown2008-06-25 03:16:52
So why should a passive skill out pace my health sipping by itself?
