Most of us give opinions based on our own experiences.

Problem is most of us suck... sad.gif

@Ixion: 22 STR, Ibululu, TF, 221/223 damage swords, lightning runes. Damage must get exponentially higher over 20 STR and 200 damage on one handers because I've levelled knights in high end fieldplate with 3000+ health.

You're welcome for the laugh closedeyes.gif
Ixion2006-05-16 12:58:20
19 is about my minimum str.

And no it doesnt get exponentially higher.

I had 24 str yesterday, and often reside in the 22-23 range.

Think again.

Note: Have you heard nothing that's been said? Knights will fullplate, even my fullplate, take more damage from warriors than mages/wiccans/etc do. I do more damage to myself and Daevos than I do to any decent mage wiccan without a huge racial penalty.

I forgot this game is balanced around omnitrans. I take so much damage because I have nearly no resiliance, I'm rather sure. Ah well, good thing I stopped fighting in Lusternia - I can't stand the "balanced for omnitrans" thing x_x
Asarnil2006-05-16 21:50:11
Every IRE game has ALWAYS aimed for balanced at omnitrans. It isn't like its something Lusternia came up with - its a defining goal behind all of the games.
Sylphas2006-05-16 22:33:32
It should also be somewhat/mostly balanced with transed guild skills, or you alienate a large portion of your playerbase.
Ildaudid2006-05-16 22:35:46
Just please fix the knights, PB's and AL's.... Right now I have had to take a job as a vegetable chopper in Athana's kitchen... it is the only thing this sword seems to be able to cut... sad.gif
ferlas2006-05-16 22:51:03
Either way sylphas knights still lose out at a decent level.

Actually, at just tri-trans, your opponent has no resilience or combat, and you should be able to easily kill him if you know what you're doing. At least, I'd think so.

But I'm not going to take sides. I haven't fought in way too long to have a decent opinion beyond generalities.

Just pick the side that benefits your favorite character. Thats what nearly everyone else does tongue.gif

One last comment I forgot to add... Ixion, did can you post, or have someone else post what you posted on the actual envoy boards? I have a feeling it will do a lot more good than a post on these forums.

Just copy and paste it, I think it was short, to the point and well stated.
Ixion2006-05-17 03:09:52
If I was envoy I would.

Of course I forwarded these concerns to my envoy for the post changes summit, but it doesn't hurt to bring these issues out into the open beforehand.

That would be great. Runes could use some love.

Subj: Envoy Report Changes

Some more report-requested or inspired changes.

- Discernment Magiclist will now show the number of months left until
the items decay.
- Healing Muscles will now also cure paralysis.
- Healing Blood will now absorb the bleeding of the target into the
curer as well as curing a blood-related affliction.
- Healing has a new ability called Temperature to cure the symptoms of
extreme high or low temperatures.
- I found a bug in Healing Nervous while poking around in Healing,
though it wasn't included in the envoy reports. Essentially it boiled
down to the fact that it never had a chance to cure hemiplegy or pierced
limbs, but it's now been fixed so it will cure those properly.
- Dreamweaving Nightmare, Sap and Channel will no longer still use up
the willpower if the target is awake.
- Probe is now able to be used while in Dreamform.
- Info Here is now able to be used while in Dreamform.
- Glance is now able to be used while in Dreamform.
- Squint is now able to be used while in Dreamform.
- In an Aethership, all GRID commands apart from GRID REPAIR are now
able to be used while the ship is docked.
- There is a new command for those joined to a Ship channel, or locked
into a module - GRID WHO. It will show all others locked into modules on
the ship or joined to the ship channel.

wooo.. what exactly are affects of high and low tempetures?.. is that basically frost and fire vials? or is there something else I'm missing?

And I wonder when they are going to include Kegs in Potionlist...
