If you want to get real technical, Serens have been suggesting it for longer than Synl has existed.

They're talking about mantakaya and the adoraths here, since that's the one I put forward.

Way to be fair and impartial by representing those Serens, Xenthos! thumup.gif

That was actually the other X-envoy-- we used two slots on poisons this go-around. One for the horribly limited mantakaya, and one for the less-limited-in-number-but-more-restricted-by-enemy-status poisons in Glom. I speculate that one was thought of after reading mine, but I can't claim credit for putting it forward this time. It was, however, long over-due.

(You can check the REPORT LIST to see what stuff was submitted, by the way)

I'm pretty sure Xiel has been wanting to change the poisons in Glom, as well as mantakaya, for a while now.
Shaddus2008-10-10 02:32:10
I'm sort of wondering why the Nekotai are submitting an envoy report for scabbards?
Xiel2008-10-10 02:34:16
To look kewl. Wouldn't you want to be able to menacingly unleash the fury of your pretty pink nekai claws with a dazzling movement from your scabbard?

Yeah, but the issue is choosing which of the plethora of ideas to go forward with, and he does like to switch his slot around a few times before he settles on one. Which is always interesting, when you think you know what he's going forward with and suddenly it's something else.

I remember suggesting something else carry mantakaya back before Gwylifar went inactive, though I can't remember now what it was I suggested.
Unknown2008-10-10 13:42:37
Xiel only wanted the other poisons.

It was my genius mind that conceived the possibility of Adoraths giving mantakaya.

And the Scabbards report is so monks can sheathe their weapons. Because they can't.
Gwylifar2008-10-10 14:03:29
Oh, I suggested the other poisons too. I had a whole plan in which there would be bats in the gorgog or naga caves, for instance. If you dig hard enough you can find some of it on these forums, dating back to early 2005 probably.

So, is this only for shofa/nekai, or are you making something for tahto/jakari?

Well, I can't read the report as it's unsubmitted right now, but I imagine it would be possible for those two to get it as well. I'd think that the Scabbards would need a backstrap or something like that to hold Tahto, Frogges just don't really fit in my image of holding a staff.

Could sit on the back of the belt, like Donatello's bo:

o Bard damage was not properly dealing with being modified by two stats.
This has been fixed.

... I don't see how this could have reduced my damage by almost 1/2. And it has. This better be a fricken bug, because if bards were OP before this, they are punching bags now.
silimaur2008-10-22 15:50:59
What was your damage before and what is it now?

Are you trans? etc etc
Unknown2008-10-22 15:55:02
Also, what race are you? If you are one that has a low value for a stat that wasn't figuring properly into damage prior to this change, it may have something to do with it.
