Well, instakill vs. opengut is a pretty... significant downgrade.

Since opengut is nigh-useless.

The previous setup was too much, you have to agree. Ninjakari are by no means useless now.

Oh, I agree (that double-stacking thing was an unstoppable instakill, and thus the disembowel had to go away).

It could easily have been something that was still useful, though... it just could not be a second regeneration instantkill, in terms of stacking ability. Balance-wise, it shouldn't be an instakill at all (being able to easily stack two timed instakills at once is a bit much).

Do you disagree that this was too much of a step in the other direction for this skill?

All the Magnagoran envoys who commented were approving of the switch.

I thought that those envoys agreed assuming various other conditional changes...

TBH, I mostly just can't wait to see where Izekeal runs to next. He is running out of guilds with assured instakills to choose from.

I'm probably bitter now that you are being retarded but otherwise no, my earlier post was not bitter about the downgrade, the downgrade was 100% deserved, any class that can disembowel AND burstorgans at the same time has very powerful potential and leans on the border of OP.

However... -opengut- as a replacement? Seriously?

Tis fine though. This is temporary. It'll be changed again to be useful once more, however the change for just opengut and no extra bonus i.e stun, bleed, etc. for an ability which requires grapple + yank is very stupid. I.e, Roarkfail.

Sorry Charune no, I spoke with the Mag envoys personally and they did not agree to just the 'opengut' affliction. Xenthos already explained it.

Edit2: "Mag envoys" refers to Ceren and Lanfayr, because there was a long discussion of what the new affliction would be.

The only two Magnagoran envoys that commented were Ceren and Lanfayr, and if there were more objections, they should've been brought up. Since there was mutual agreement, especially from the Ninjakari envoy herself, I don't see why you're ranting about it Thoros. Ninjakari are still very nice in their own regard. You know if Izekeal joins your guild, you've clearly got something that needs to get nerfed anyway.

then possibly 'Roarkfail' is an over-exaggeration.
