Even with a fully powered Mark? Considering that (or, I think it was) 5 little freeze touch things powers up a Mark fully, if that initial little rate bumps up considerably, 5/6 affs in two swings (at ~3s for two swings) is reaching really, really far.

I'm guessing they took the 1% chance of affliction per level to a maximum of 15%. 0% affliction rate without deathmark. Not sure how it works out for dual wielders though since I'm not one.
Unknown2009-06-04 18:55:26
Heh, 10-15% per hit is pretty annoying, not to mention the fact that it's not hard to build up the mark, compounded by the fact that level 1 or whatever can't even be removed barring time (unless that was changed).
Ronny2009-06-04 18:59:35
Mark begins at level 0. Shows level 0 on DEATHMARK SENSE.

CODE
Izekeal is located in the Midnight Coliseum.
Darkness level of mark: 0

Also, it seems to be -4 stats for damage/precision/speed. Apply appropriate adjustments to two handers (Balizar had -4/-9/-4 and I forgot to check my own).

CODE
With a focused look, Daevos strikes at you with a midnight dragon katana. You are feebly struck in your right leg with the blade.
The grim mark on your body suddenly darkens slightly.
A foul feeling churns in the pit of your stomach.

When I get afflicted.
Llandros2009-06-04 19:01:56
Pretty sure you can only put it on one weapon at a time.

Sleep change doesn't touch metawake or kafe, just means that you don't wake instantly if you're fully rested now, making sleep tactics a bit more viable.

The 10p commune skills just don't drop on death now, still fades on logout.

It'll be fun getting hit by BC Necros with knockdown/dulak/manta/scabies/epilepsy btw. Though I hear the actual % for contagion affs is fairly low, so that's comforting.

Somewhere around 5%, once you get to level 12 deathmark seems fairly close from the testing we did earlier.
Charune2009-06-04 22:12:28
Max should be 7.5% chance.

You can only mark one weapon.

Must...get..information. Hooray on the mass enemy thing! Just need...the new AB's for CrowCaw, Gloomtide, DustStorm, Ecology stuff, and Artisan Prized now!
Diamondais2009-08-01 19:21:46
I like Multiple enemying!
Unknown2009-08-01 19:31:07
So when a cosmic lord is dead will I no longer be able to use symbol strike or will I just be unable to use a affliction through the symbol?
Ilyarin2009-08-01 19:32:38
You should still be able to use symbol strike.

ARTISAN - PRIZED

Syntax: PRIZE
PRIZE RETURN
Power: variable* (any) (to return)
Sometimes you build a piece of furniture that is so beautiful and
special to your heart that you always wish to return to it. By claiming
a piece of furniture as your prized possession, you will be able to
return to it. This ability has a powerful range that extends up through
the known planes (but not across aetherspace). There are some
limitations to this power. It costs 10,000 gold to place your golden
seal upon a piece of furniture to claim it as your prized possession and
you may only ever have one prized piece. Note that prized furniture does
not decay.

The power cost varines depending on what plane you are returning from:
Prime = 1 power
Ethereal = 3 power
Elemental = 3 power
Cosmic = 4 power
Astral = 5 power
(Any plane not listed above that you can return from is also 5 power.)

I suppose that's an improvement, but I'm still not sure who'd use this and why. Skills at Adept, it makes sense to ask that about, but this is a Transcendent skill. Meh.

It's cheaper than Nestreturn, which is used all the time for off-continent romps, like the Undervault.

I use prized all the time to get home from other planes.

o New skill in Crow called hibernate.

This is a really bad skill.

edit: I want ibululu back too.

Post the AB for it then?

Basically, hibernate allows crow users to enter a trance and collect carrion from their nest remotely. The complaint was that they had to travel to the nest to refill up on carrion, which this skill addresses. There was a suggestion that they convert bodies in their inventory directly which we rejected out of hand (as collecting and carrying corpses is trivial). Anyway, if you don't like the skill, you don't have to use it!

That's semi snazzy, though I've never played a crow user skilled enough to have a nest. Is there a cooldown/equilibrium after use?

Oh boy did Geomancer demesnes have to get even more annoying, because stun/prone/breakleg/hunger attrition/rubble and oodles of damage just wasn't enough.

Hey, they needed something. They don't have trees!
