Deathsong, yes. Looks like a good group buff, but solo, people will still just walk or gust the Cantor out, I think. Theorycrafting, of course.
Sior2011-03-11 11:49:52
I may have forgotten to write it in, but angelichost does NOT work with deathsong or with perfectfifth. Please bug ASAP if you see it doing otherwise. Actually rewrote deafness checking to do this!

Nydekion2011-03-11 12:16:13
It actually doesn't seem to be working with any songs except for princess farewell and possibly deathsong right now. Heh.
Edit: Well, that was fixed fast.
PS: Deathsong I can understand not working with the skill, but I'm not sure I understand the logic behind preventing perfect fifth from being used with it since AngelicHost already prevents much of the passive affliction songs from being used by the Cantor and standard tactics to break perfectfifth still exist even with the extended timer on AngelicHost.

what were the justchorale affs changed to?
Enyalida2011-03-11 20:14:10
Hey, won't this song unwinding help them versus other bards? It's annoying to have to sing your song back a few stanzas, but in bard v. bard combo, it lets you wind yourself back to avoid your entire song being ended with fugue.
Lendren2011-03-11 20:18:54
Being able to go back one stanza is very useful, and when we used to be able to fugue ourselves, that was deemed a bug. I think we envoyed being able to do it and had it rejected, but not sure. Going back two or three... might be more bad in some situations, may occasionally still be useful though.

I am beginning to wonder if they read the right ecology report. This seems like it might have been intended for 401.
Problem: Getting the familiar of you choice is random, so it might regularly cost 20, 30, 40 power to get as you kill and rebirth several consecutive familiars. Also these gender restrictions on which familiars you can get are unfair and seem incongruous.
Solution: New command to dismiss your bond.
Really? You took from this that the problem was having to physically bash the familiar?
This is actually worse to use since it doesn't leave a corpse to rebirth from. (Also if you use it on armoured familiar it destroys your fetish!)![doh.gif](style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doh.gif)

Given the nature of the Inquisition report, I was really confused by the solution offered until I reread the thread again. I guess that works?
Unknown2011-04-08 06:37:18
They basically decided to approve what was report 308, which had been rejected. I mean, something must have changed to warrant that, right right?
Edit: actually now that I read it again, it's slightly different. But I thought they removed sleep from one of the things that stop tumble?

Yay for saplings.
Now, if only they'll let me organize past theatre submissions with this new category system. It bothers me intensely to see them all clustered still. D:

Leprechaun report rejected? Well, so much for it having any real use, even if it was just convenience. Guess we should have tacked on some combat use that would have been shouted down as "You don't need any buffs, you're fine". Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Sior can get into the nitty-gritty of it, but the problem, as I understand, wasn't 'no new buffs for wiccans!' but 'the benefits we were okay with would take way, way, way too much time and require a lot of rewriting to code'.
Or so was my impression.

I assigned labels to all of Hallifax's productions this morning, and they showed up properly categorized at the world stage. I'd imagine any stage manager could do it, or else the MoCA.

No sense having a production cluttering up the backstage list if it's never going to get off the ground. DELETE DELETE.

Oh, dandy. I'll have to try and see if I can clean up the past submissions in Glom then.
