Do remember that was the first time I beat you, and it was about our 5th spar.

And it was NOT 30 seconds. Everyone needs to to STOP guessing times, unless you actually had a timer beside you.

Ok question, did they fix the problem with burnout in arena combat? I mean great they did all this work and all and I am not a mage or anything but I did notice how stupid it is to a poor mage that decides to spar... makes a mistake or something and burns out in the arena... Now they have to wait for 1-2 IG days for them to use any tele skills? I was hoping they may have fixed it to reset along with how everyone else resets when the arena combat is over... Anyone know if they did do anything about that?

When passive damage is over half your health, it is very possible to die to the demesne alone.

I do indeed enjoy killing people with minimal effort. Before the skill was too easy to pull off. Now I think its too hard, if possible at all against decent combatants. Best case I see is that you can force a run.

I'm not even sure why I take *your* responces seriously. Its quite obvious that you know little about the skillset upon looking at your comments, but I, in my infinite kindness and patience, have decided to try to set you straight and correct your skewed views. laugh.gif

Don't think they have. At least not that I've heard.

Seems so... Runes didn't get a thing, and neither did other skillsets like Hexes. Not that Hexes was weak, but there were a few things I'd have liked to see changed as per Narsrim's suggestions >_< Instead, Hexes was nerfed sad.gif

Hexes deserve nerfing though.

EDIT: Why? Because no other skill can deal TWO MASKED afflictions at the same time, so easily and for so little power cost.

I can't believe they didn't at least look at runes, it has to be the most useless single guildskill in the game right now - at least astrology has great buffs.

Crow can deal 9 masked afflictions at once if you're not careful. God that skill needs to be nerfed...

The new crow personal res skill has some offensive ability as well which I don't think anyone is quite sure what to make of yet.

Hexes is fine and it wasnt nerfed it was a bug fix, runes is ok for druids but pretty weak and pointless for mages. It could have done with a few big upgrades.

Yea fair enough I'd have like to see a change to all hex as well, bso its not an insta kill to anyone who hasnt lernt focus mind, or as least drop focus mind down. Other than that I was pretty happy with hexes.

Agreed, I always found that lame too sad.gif All-hex is too powerful against people without focus mind, and too weak against people who have it (and know how to cure). It's a ten power opening move which, unless it kills your target (which it does if they don't have focus mind), leaves you unable to use your finisher (which costs 8p) before they can recover, and leaves you unable to stack afflictions since they can cure them faster than you can give them without whammy/doublewhammy (which take power). In essence, the only worthwhile followup to an allhex is damage, and for Moondancers, that means those lovely 100% magic moonbursts, which have the weakest damagetype in the game.

Again, I'm not saying hexes is a weak skillset, just that allhex really isn't worth it in 1v1 at the omni-trans level, and that allhex is too overpowered at lower levels (often including the tri-trans level).

True its fairly useless one on one without the passive aeon pet to back it up with instan aeon if timed well, but it is very useful in group combat, you can shut down someones healing for about 6 or so seconds at least assuming they cure perfectly which gives plenty of time for others damage kill them.

Yep, though I was never good at using it in large combats, since every time an enemy of yours walks in or out of the room, you lose one of the hexes you were going to use for the allhex, which is annoying when you're trying to draw an allhex lock and people keep moving about tongue.gif

Dont enemy people then, most of the time in group combat you wont be using skills that target enemies get someone else to moon curse the room so you can draw hexes in peace or use hex aura.
