It's six, I would guess. Spiders are one, wasps are two, bats are three, zombies are four, ravenwoods are five, thorn beasts are six, hammerheads are seven. Krokani are more like thorn beasts than ravenwoods.

It does seem to me that 75 carrion is too cheap for ubertransmigrate *shrug* That's just an opinion though.

Can't go over 100 carrion, since it's capped there. Can't raise the cap over 254, since once it hits 255 it rolls back to 0.
Xavius2006-06-13 07:39:10
It's not at all that 75 carrion is hard to get. It's that it's 75 carrion, plus the one carrion lost per hour, plus carrion used for other skills, and the fact that your nest can't hold more than 100 and is destroyed if it hits zero. Really, it just means that you have to bash something before doing it again. If a whole bunch of Gloms die at the same time, the group needs to wait before being at full strength. It's a time cost, not a resource cost.

Xenthos says 254, Xavius says 100, someone needs to make up their mind.

To that “but we have to hunt” argument, you have a mid-high level hunting ground covered by your territorial conglut, so I don’t think that will be a problem.

I guess I'm glad I’m stuck on my 1 damage type magic attack now, if I was magic/lightning/ect I'd be taking more afflictions from this skill.

chin.gif This does make me wonder if it will afflict long-range backlash through Rage Coven now.

Revan said it effected demesnes.

And when I had a nest, they were still bugged to allow more than 100 carrion, not sure if it was fixed yet.

mid-high level bashing ground?!

Ummm, glomdoring is like for newbies, i stopped bashing there at level 30 maybe 40 at the latest.

Still makes their home territory a great place to get carrion.

And yes, they did finally fix the nest carrion limit.

This reminds me of druid grove sunlight.

I'm also curious to know if I'm going to be afflicted every time my banshee hits a crow user. unsure.gif

It doesn't work with ents or damage causing afflictions. I haven't tested it against a demense user. Annoying Serens don't leave their demesne holders unattended!

It does work against demesnes, but only if you and the demesne holder are standing in the exact same room, exact same elevation. To be honest, I'm surprised it doesn't work against ents, the way it seems to be coded.

These new skills sound like they really havnt been thought out or considered in actual combat at all they sound freakishly overpowered, ill wait till I see them in action but passive afflictions are always nice and its a great boost to druids who are already one the top of the most powerful combatants classes.

Keep in mind that sap got a silent nerf, so the druid's power is a bit less now. We'll see how it all works together.
Unknown2006-06-13 21:24:37
What happened to sap? The last change I remember is when it got a specific message, which is only midly useful even to moderate combatants.
Daganev2006-06-13 21:29:12
each action is delayed by .5 seconds instead of by 1 second, so you can cure it faster.

It slows me down half a second now, instead of a full second.

I don't think so... the new Hart skill changes absolutely nothing in 1v1 combat for Hartstone druids, and is really not going to be used in proper combat against an enemy team. It's extremely useful for after a heavy battle and against high level mobiles, but I don't think it will really change the face of our combat too much.

Fair enough ive not seen either in action but mostly the reports of the crow abilites seem overpowerd in so many ways, you staff them once bam chance for 3 afflictions right there your demense ticks 4 afflictions and they didnt even do anything, and the res meh I thought we had already said transmigrate type reses were insanely overpowered no matter how much they cost to set up.

Aye. Transmigration itself needed nerfage. This skill is like 1000 x better than transmigration.
