I thought swings jab and any other warrior attack except certain special ones like raze cleave assault lunge crush etc had the same miss rate...

What mob gives confusion?

Well scorpions give that random affliction venom!..So maybe those and probably some gardead too
Ixion2006-07-13 15:14:23
Yep. Garghouls.

Clarification on that log for retarded father, misguided Murphy, and brainwashed Ildaudid: I was not hitting stance - there's generally the 'steps smoothly away from the blow' when that happens, and he was still stancing head because it was the beginning of the duel. I was not using 'swing daereth' - it was a targeted swing (smashing left).

Thank you, my misses were all just freaks. Six in a row. Bleh.

Now stop thinking I'm quite so pathetic. I'm solidly upper-lower tier.

I agree... unless you are looking for a special deepwound affliction that requires a swing, you should strike @target *bodypart*
Ashteru2006-07-14 18:17:01
ah, it was strike, okay.

Besides, only use the bashingthings when you have their head at critical and then just do smite down @target.

he was smashing left. Which is Slice Left for blademasters.

We are talking past each other. But I win.

Go play with Gooey.

Many times I have noticed stances misses which did NOT give the "backs away smoothly" or how was it message. They were supposed to, but they didn't.

Subj: Envoy Mini Report

Once again, we have some combat changes brought to you by the envoys.

-The xp loss from ego burnout has been reduced and the time of burnout
slightly decreased.
-Saplings are easier to chop in environments that are not naturally
forest.
-Toads cannot be shrouded under any circumstance.
-Hexes should stick when you change elevations (really this time!).
-Ablution and Lustration are always effective regardless of current
health/mana.
-Surge's mana drain is reduced (though still random).
-Regeneration's mana drain is slightly reduced.
-Everyone has a chance to resist being moved by spring traps (normal
movement resistance).
-Perfect gems now cost 3 power to use.

There is one more mini report change that is outstanding and that is a
new skill for druids! We hope to get that to you

(And for those who are waiting and wondering, the last BIG update for
warriors as a result of the warrior summit is coming soon.)

Penned by My hand on the 25th of Roarkian, in the year 153 CE.
Genos2006-08-06 00:36:49
Erk I just posted a new topic about that too...

EDIT: Can't wait for the warrior changes!
Acrune2006-08-06 00:54:37
Excellent changes. wub.gif
Rauros2006-08-06 01:26:10
Can you please justify the Perfect Gem change? Dazzle only costs 2 power and it's not a trans ability.

It isn't a tradeskill and it doesn't affect groups.

EDIT: And it's quicker than dazzle.
Rauros2006-08-06 01:32:52
So who was it that caused this change, whether by abusing it, or suggested it, so I can go kick their censor.gif?

Everyone who switched to jewellery to get a perfect gem, then switched back to their other tradeskill, and then spammed gem repeatedly in combat.

(That is, not actual jewellers.)

I can't remember the envoy. You are, however, free to begin with Narsrim. He is far from the only one, but he'd be the most amusing one for you to fight against.

Pretty much everyone who had the skill. It decimated groups with the way faeleaf works, and its still worth the 3 power.
Rauros2006-08-06 01:40:59
Oh well. losewings.gif I'll miss my gem.
Ialie2006-08-06 01:48:40
If you aren't a jeweler the perfect gem should die.
