(I have no idea where third eye came into this as it has nothing to do with blindness)

I was half-asleep, that's where. closedeyes.gif

They do.

I talked with Hajamin several months ago about brooches in general. He said that at some indefinate future point in time brooches would be limited in number able to be worn, though if I remember correctly he wasn't sure one way or the other if it was intended or not to wear a boat-load.

We'll make it simple - it isn't intended, it only takes common sense to realize that.

I suppose that sorts that issue out. I think the even more pertinent question, though, is whether wearing multiple brooches is considered an abuse of a bug...

Your only ment to be able to wear two brooches now right or is it more?
Penelope2006-04-19 19:01:40
At the moment you can wear an infinite number of brooches...kinda like flowers. It'll be sorted out when all the other really important stuff is fixed first. This is why the commodity costs of all the brooches was increased so dramatically.

Considering there are people who do not have the sense not to post about such bugs or point out ways to abuse them, I guess there are also people who will find the following helpful:

No, you're not supposed to melt in brooches you bought when they were cheap to gain a crapload of comms. I don't think I'm going out on a limb if I say, yes, you will be shrubbed if you try, and yes, the admin will find out if you try. While it's not as bad as the bug with negative clan dues, it goes down a comparable tangent, and we all know the outcome of that.

Why is this thread still here, anyway?

I think that you should have to keep the skill to use the item, IE have to have trans jewelry to use the transfix, have trans alchemy to use the philosphers stone ect. Not trans one, get the item, move along to the next.

I have the distinct suspicion that Richter may be ridiculing either me, my post, the sentiment it expressed or the people it adressed.... if just I could decide which so I knew whether to rain doom down upon him chin.gif suicide.gif

Agreed wholeheartedly. As much as I'd like to keep my 3 fullplates and pick a more profitable trade like Herbs (and for the herb consumption bonus) I think that's rather lame you're able to keep the Trans tradeskill item. It completely unbalances the combat system with powerful items such as Fullplate/Fascinate Gem/Splendor Robes.
