Agreed. There's some true gems of roleplay to be seen on the public newsboard, be sure not to miss them!

So funny! I saved the bit about me to giggle at, and I have been (though it's a bit saddening that it was just generic). If it were in a newspaper article, I'd've clipped it out, framed it, and hung it on the wall. Alas, it isn't.

Raizan's response was ever so disappointing.

There's little or nothing I can say to it, except to produce my last post again... there's practically nothing he's said that isn't already covered.. even if only by the: "we have different perspectives" argument...

Aiakon will argue: Blacklists haven't existed in ages (a RL OOC year apparently), Raizan's still in Terentia's order therefore acts as her spokesman by default, he won't agree about Celestia and Nil (perspectives argument), he won't accept that there's anything wrong in condemning thievery when he worships a god who believes in greed and conflict (perspectives argument)...

In other words, it's going to turn into:
Raizan: You're Wrong
Aiakon: No YOU'RE WRONG
Raizan: NO YOU'RE WRONG!
Aiakon: etc
Raizan: etc
etc

And that's dull. So Aiakon is sshing. Apologies to all, and well done to Raizan for grabbing the last word, and being arsed to play in the in first place.

Most of the posts were kind of almost meaningless but the last one was definatly the worst one, its just like put down your dam thesaurus and get to a point that hasnt been cover 10 times already

There, my little contribution to the game. Quite witty in its own way and offers enough openings to attack.

(Just don't give me anything like, yo tainted, shaddap. Though, I guess Aiakon could turn that into something worthwhile )

To be perfectly honest.. I've decided that the quiet option is the best one for me, currently. Terentia, Nil consume her posterior, told me that she'd high disfavour me for a month, every month, for.. I've forgotten how long. I'm hoping that at some stage she'll forget because:

1) it not only stops me congluting, and ruins all my skills.. but it takes me below the geomancy skill I need to even staff cast - therefore, I'm rendered completely impotent.

2) getting the exp loss every month is painful (not quite sure why she didn't just spank me with a many-month disfavour, not lots of small ones - am hoping that this was a bark > bite scenario, and was to enable her to forget. Because when you get down to it, who would want to punish someone as loveable as me?)

In short, Aiakon is keeping a low profile. Not being able to use his staff makes for some fun RP opportunities... which I'm quite enjoying. But.. I really can't do a sodding thing until she stops disfavouring me, so I need to hide and hope for divine amnesia.

Meh. What a spoilsport. She could at least have created something more interesting than just disfavouring you. I guess we're just used to too high a standard as far as that is concerned, now that we knew Hajamin.

Well actually, after scaring the Nil out of Aiakon with a series of: "You get a nasty foreboding" style emotes, she summoned him to her Fulcrux, and put him firmly in his place.. muted him a little, and then disfavoured him to Nil and back. There was a touch of class in it.

I still think she could have summoned some scary even-bladed angel thingie for you that spanks Aiakon every time he comes near a newsroom. Or something like that

Heh, not too bad. I'm always sad when I miss out on things like that.

I think David has a point though, I like the image of an angel chasing you around the Basin jabbing you because you got too close to the newsroom.

I think this quote from Clementius about shouts on Achaea about sums up the Public News boards right now...
