The first time we spoke about miniature pentagrams and alembics, it was either that Glomdoring was not out yet, or that it was new. Some people had problems about having more than one alembic in the game.

Later, another argument was that people had wierd magic ties to their commune or city items. That was disproved by an enchanter using the other city's pentagram.

So... can we get aether alembics and pentagrams now? biggrin.gif Please?

I second that motion.

Aren't miniatures just items that tell the game to place an item in the room it's activated in? I have no idea how to code, but... it doesn't seem -terribly- hard, you'd just put the forge code in, and replace it with "alembic". tongue.gif

I think the alembics, forges and things are actually just objects that include the necessary behaviour to allow people to forge and so on (OBVIOUSLY UNINFORMED STATEMENT, BEWARE). I don't think it would work any differently from miniature forges.
