http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spriggan
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boggart (or Boggle)
Spriggan--They control size...perhaps they could force a creature back to their natural size. Or, if they are giants, they might be able to throw a creature into a random room.
Spriggans supposedly have teleportation abilities. Maybe they could be used to attack somebody from a distance. (In other words, the Spriggans can seek somebody out by name and attack them).
Boggart--hand over mouth eh? Some ideas.
* Gives blackout (choking)
* Silences a creature, like the divine curse, no tells, says, shouts, yells, etc. Short-term attack though. Great way for a Wiccan to sneak attack before the victim calls for help.

That silencing move is interesting, and I like the concept, I'm just not sure how it would be played out.
As for giving us a blackout move on top of our random afflicty-ness, as well as the lovely wiccans who have hexes already... well, that's just asking for trouble. ( Even though I love it <3 )
As for the spriggan just moving somebody into another room, I dunno, it doesn't seem that useful at all. Maybe as a defensive "Run awayyyy!" maneuver... And like somebody mentioned earlier about a similar idea, I think it was Narsrim, having a fae that'd just seek out the target and attack them wouldn't really do much at all. Fae are all supportive things, so having one random one that'd try to attack out of the group would mean squat.

nice idea...
A spriggan attaches itself to the back of a person, and slowly inflates, adding 1 size to the vitice per "attack."
Size goes back to normal if the spriggan is killed or lost.

The Ifrit:
*Attacks with a medium fire attack <--- rarest?
*Sends chains of fire to entagle the enemy <---rarer
*Catches target on fire <---rare

Ifrits are more or less "Geniekind", which I think would be more elemental based and released later.
There are also other types of shee or sidhe. We should review some of those as well.

Here's my idea for spriggan:
You can order it to inflate and block a direction. It will allow you and all personal allies to pass, but block anyone who is neutral/enemied. More or less like a more kill-able stonewall.

Perhaps not as useful as what willowisp would be - but maybe something compared to a bogie, which is related to a boggart.
Information on Bogies
A wiccan will summon the bogie, and order it to kill that person. The wiccan will then need to order the bogie to follow the person, and the bogie will keep a constant watch on the movements of the person and listen into conversations.
Also, I thought of something like willowisp - that being glaistig.
Information on Glaistig
Again, the wiccan would summon the glaistig and order it to kill the target. Instead of what willowisp did - which brought the target near instantly to the wiccan - I thought perhaps something like Druidry's Pathtwist. The glaistig would sing and it would 'hit' the target. The inital hit would tell the target that they are under the affects of the glaistig - this part could be removed, as it could make it really easy to negate its effects - and each hit thereafter would move the target one room closer to the wiccan. The target can WRITHE out of it, like if it were transfixed.
And then for my last thought, perhaps something like an Urisk.
Information on Urisk: Part I
Information on Urisk: Part II
I thought the Urisk could be a more defensive fae, in which when summoned - its complete ugliness would drive the enemies of the wiccan to attack the Urisk first, instead of the wiccan or anything else. Naturally, it would have to be far more resilient - but I think that could be possible. My first idea was to have it temporarily stun enemies with its appearance - making them shake in fear - for a second or two, but that might make it overpowered.

Sukunyai ( Sue-coon-yeah )
First of all the folklore we have for them is that they are floating hands of fire. They grab travelers walking along lonely paths in the night and grab onto their bodies, and pull them back. More and more of them start coming straining the man more and more. Usually the target is oblivious to their presence except for the increasing strain it is to walk and even move.
This ends in two different conclusions:
A. The man collapses
B. The man makes it off the path
In both scenarios the sukunyai leave
My Idea
When summoned, the sukunyai will appear only as a single floating hand of fire.
Its Ability
LATCH
The sukunyai will fly off to the target’s location and attempt to grab onto his body.
This is the point when it is most vulnerable, once it latches on it can’t be killed unless you writhe it off and then kill it.
Once it latches on it begins to multiply. Every new hand has to attempt to latch onto the target. The target could writhe off the original one and hit it. Killing it causes all the others to disappear.
Sukunyai effects
Number of hands attacked affect the aflictions caused:
1 You hobble when you move
2
3 Endurance consumption doubles
4
5 All normal movement is stopped
i.e moving, sprinting, flying etc….
6
7 Endurance consumption quadruples
8
9 All unnatural movement ceases
i.e teleportation, moonbeam etc….
10 Four second delay to all actions.
What do you guys think?

How about a "green fairy" that get's people drunk?
Or a "blue fairy" that brings objects on a victim to life, which jump up and attack their former owners.

Perhaps a fae that, if it's following the target, allows you to instantly travel to that target with only a tiny eq loss and lose your non-fae entourage.
The majority of the ideas suggested so far are vastly overpowered. Wiccans don't need any extra afflictions or entanglement, they DEFINITELY don't need stun or blackout, and any damage significant enough to be worth summoning the fae for would be overpowered.

Exactly why I said the ability should be utility and not offense or defence.

heh, a satyr that takes the alchohol out of your system and gives it to your target... like bedevil, but for drunk people.
Ooooh... New Skill, WITCH'S BREW
Casting a curse upon the vials in your possesion Removes all the liquid from a full vial, and solidfies them into a small pellet which can be stored in a rift, and later placed in a vial. ONly works on full vials with either 50 or 60 sips. Does not last long outside of your rift (i.e. can't sell them in shops)
Great for when all your vials are about to decay and you have tons left over.

I was wondering about the possibility of another curse... newt maybe *giggle* (had to)
Unknown2006-04-29 23:32:02
No, a curse that turns them into a statue.
But while they are a statue they are invincible?
Unless you get them in the air or in water. Then they either fall from the sky and break or sink to the bottom and crumble?
oh and you can move them from room to room with PUSH

Illusions has an ability that turns you/others into statues already...we can't push them around though
Saran2006-04-30 07:18:45
So no one wants to be able to say "She turned me into a Newt!"
Oh well, I was thinking that the curse could be a majorly nerfed version of the toad one, just something to remove them from battle for a moment like a minute or two though that might be useless... oh well
