I'm obsessed with writing descriptions so every once in a while I post all of mine at once, no worries.

Eh, what the hell. Might as well.

She is a fierce illuminated dracnari titan and stands willowy and feminine as a figure, the entire of her reptilian form clad in a natural suit of ethereal-white, smooth, and stiff scales. Eyes of silver whirl constantly and hypnotically, while gaudy, thickly applied streaks of dark green and scarlet liner curl out past their corners. A pair of spiralled and sectioned horns emerge from her temples, curling to a point beneath her sharply curved jaw that leads into a draconic snout. Frills of scales crown her skull and neck, held together by long spines of flexible cartilidge, their entirety overall much more leathery and soft than the rest of her body. These frills bear an innumerable amount of studs and hoops of gemstone and metal which are linked together by thin strands of woven gold. Each of her fingers sports a dangerously hooked claw, each one of them lacking color, but murky enough to not see through. She stands digitigrade, her feet large and splayed to keep balance and scale-pattering along her shins giving the appearance of a raptor's limbs. A lengthy, slender tail branches out of her lower back and tapers off into a whiplike tip, about the same length as her body from toe to head. Miniscule spines, each one sharp as a needle in spite of size, line her back up from her neck and down to her thighs. Larger and thicker spikes adorn her scales on the sides of her forearms and thighs. Four lengthy and prehensile tentacles, decorated in bangles of gold and sapphire, writhe restlessly and lively behind her, their bases fused to her flesh between her shoulderblades and down near her waist.

I still don't think I'm quite descriptive enough, though.

My description is horrible, but I'm not sure what to do with it. I'm trying to go with a finch look:

She is a feathered cloud trill and the wings that sprout from her back are the
color of old gold with black bands near the bottom edge. Feathers of the same
color sweep back from her head in a sharp crest.

Eep! I have no face! Someone give me a generic one.

She is a regal aslaran and holds herself proudly. As she stands here, she vibrates slightly, as if controlling the urge to bounce up and down. Her midnight fur is tinted with flecks of gray around her ears, face, tail and underbelly in sharp contrast to violet eyes streaked with icy blue that dart around warily. Her canine-like snout slopes to a distinctly feline nose, showing her heritage of loboshigaru but also the dominant aslaran blood in her. Whiskers tinted blue show her close relation to water despite her race, just above a mouth that reveals white daggers. Her pointed ears are large but feminine. She is tall for her race and gender, towering at approximately 6'5", and leans toward the chubby side, but is overall well toned. Full breasts indicate her having grown into full adulthood. Various tiny scars decorate her body in the form of paler fur, along with three dominant marks across her neck, clean and smooth from the bite of a blade, showing her vulnerability during combat. The symbol of Lady Terentia is borne proudly on her right shoulder, branded into her fur. She stands tall as a strong individual.

Very similar to original Aeral, but with fur instead of scales.

I added a face, but I still feel like it needs more. Any suggestions at all. Also, she's not really that young anymore. Bah!! My elfen was so much easier!

I actually like it. So many descriptions (mine included, but I'm working on it!) are long and tedious, trying to spell out every detail. I have no trouble imagining Lilia with that description, though my (and everyone else's) image won't be the same as yours. Still, it is enough to get the point across.

And you didn't talk about how busty you are. Extra win.

Thanks, that's really encouraging! I guess I'll leave it for now, unless someone has a really good suggestion.

Unless of course you want it to be long. In that case, I would love to describe the precise colours of each and every feather and the way they fall across your body... and yeah, obsessed.

Or unless Narynth does it. Then it's long AND awesome.

and . Because I am a control freak (WHAT, NO WAY, LIES) I just like to include enough detail to encourage the reader (slash 'viewer') to envision a similar being to what I myself see. I do tend to have more lengthy descs under my belt, but hey, you're getting a unique persona rather than a carbon copy of a bunch of other similar racial descs. Not a hard and fast rule, of course, as Lilian's is plainly unique despite its length.



PS. describe self blah blah blah AND IS INCREDIBLY BUSTY. Her chest wiggles like lemon jello when she struts, but lumpier.
