Thing is, Verithrax defines and embodies the Walkers' beliefs and I've been pushing the organization into a darker, shadier side for a long time now... Idealists tend to get ran over when the people in charge decide they need to get their hands dirty, and for that, I apologize.

Pig Latin is a made-up language which involves letter transposition and can be actually spoken.

Anyways... I've always pictured Verithrax as a shady Clohtes seller/Politically-hungry monster. He likes money and he tries to get power via politics. That's my view tho.

Welll, I seem to recall a thread along these lines right about when the DoC Inquisition started. It occurs to me not everyone's been around that long...but still. What Estarra said in that thread was; suck it up. I had spies in other divine orders and cities, etc., when I was Eris. I managed. Just don't put them in a clan.

That said, I do think it doesn't make sense for statues to target secret clans. Or even private ones. It really does destroy the possibility of an -organized- secret society.

See, the thing is, you can be a member of an organization such as a clan without actually being IN the clan.

Then, statues can't hurt you.

Thats because we were the ones old enough to remember him in the guild before. And very interesting events indeed.

Okay. You just repeated what I said Estarra said. My response to that was, that's all nice and dandy. But what is the point of a secret clan if it is easily discovered by statues? Why call it SECRET if it's not SECRET? There's a fundamental issue here with how secrecy is achieved. Yes, you can have an organization without a clan. But it's awkward. And there should be some way other than extended isolation for secrets clans to stay that way.

If they want to be so damn secret, they should have to work for it.
