Not only are you sexist, but a bigot too.
+ No straight man is going to notice if you are wearing new eyeshadow. If he does, your man is likely trapped in the closet.
You are quite the biggot yourself.

Fun Facts about Men
2. Men don't notice small things. Heck, we don't notice big things
3. Men aren't psychic. If you have a problem say "I HAVE A PROBLEM"
6. Men are simpler, so don't complicate our lives
7. Men don't think(Most of the time), they act where their little things order
I whole heartly dissagree. If you are in love, and in a true relationship you will notice the small things, and the big things, and you will become psychic. Men are -not- simpler, infact sometimes I find my fiance to have a more simple on/off switch than me. Saying men don't think, is just an excuse for some people to get the most with giving the least.

I definitely have to agree with this assertion.

Sorry Daganev, but you are wrong. Sure men do think, but what we notice and think about are completely different to what women notice and think about. Yeah theres the percentage of guys who do think the same way as women, but a significant portion of them are gay. Then there are the percentage of women who think like men do, but a significant portion of them are gay too.
Your claim that its just an excuse for "some people to get the most with giving the least" if they are in a true relationship or in real love is pure biggotry at its worst. It is even worse than the stuff I usually come up with to tease the girls I know.
Unless you are claiming that women should notice when you have just spent three hours fine tuning the engine on your car or when you fixed up the lawnmower and chainsaw, or when you spent an hour weeding the garden?
Actually I hope you are claiming that, I need a good laugh.

This is a joke. This is only a joke. Were there a real insult being thrown in this post I'd have the intelligence to duck and cover due to the incomming attacks on my person from the many women out there who would subsequently hate me for this. Please do me a favor and take this in the spirit it's intended? Really. Have some humor.

I'm actually more discussing the men who really do take that attitude... which does kind of rule out the "true relationship" or "real love" bits.

No Xenthos. What Daganev said was that you can't be in a true relationship/in love unless you notice all the small things about the other person. That is a complete and utter fallacy.

Every long lasting married couple who are still in love that I've talked to, tell me otherwise.
Every couple that I've spoken to, that have been divorced tells me otherwise.
Every person who has given me advice on my own marriage tells me otherwise.
My experience with my Fiance tells me otherwise.
If your not intunted with the wishes and needs and changes of your partner, there is something missing in your relationship.
Its probably something thats also true outside relationships, but thats harder to judge.
I know that I know almost every detail about my fiance, and I know that when I have a bad day on a mud, or some other computer game (things she finds terriblly boring) she knows it, and asks me about it.
Now my comment about people Getting the most, with giving the least was in responce to the comment about men not being able to think with thier mind, instead of thier wanker. And that has nothing to do with the level of commitment to your relationship.

Found a Terry Pratchett quote.
Could be appropriate
Girl: "And what was that about my hair?"
Creosote: "Oh. Like a goat of flocks that grazes on the slopes of Mount Wossname, and no mistake. And as for your ears, no pink-hued shells that grace the sea-kissed sands of--"
Girl: "Exactly how like a flock of goats? I mean, in size, shape or smell?"

Daganev is right, generalizations are a bit silly. Not all women are like that, Joli (Thank the IPU) and not all men are like... Well, like the long row of sexist dudes who juse showed up to hand you a verbal beating. However, I mantain my argument about eyeshade. Nobody cares about eyeshade. Eyeshade is like ska, or Yrael's opinions. It. Just. Doesn't. Matter.

And this thread has just gotten really really ugly now I have time to read it...so...yeah.
