Then shouldn't Taint eats Raven to Produce Crow = Still Raven?
Or, in general...
Taint eats Something to Produce Tainted = Not Tainted?

Or

If Gorgulu eats Fae to Produce Imp = Still Fae?
Yet, we know Tainted Fae = Destroy Basin..
But Imps = Tainted but != Destroy Basin
Therefore, Imps != Fae
Hence, Wyrd != Taint

And sounds like you're comparing two things that shouldn't be compared from what I could glean from your messed up equations.

But the Taint essentially did the exact same thing to everything. So, if the Wyrd is still the Taint, then Nil is still Shallamar, because the Taint essentially ate Shallamar and crapped out Nil.

Gorgulu eats Fae and craps out Imps. Therefore, by the argument that Wyrd = Taint, Imps = Fae and should be protected by the Moondancers.

I think your just in denial.

A fae that gets turned into an imp is no longer considered a fae.

X that is turned in Y is no longer considered X.

Taint that is turned into Wyrd is no longer considered taint.

You're overlooking the crucial fact.

It doesn't matter whether it is or isn't so much as whether people see or don't see it as tainted. At the moment, rather a lot do.

Furthermore, not every situation is an analogue of every other situation that can be described in the same terms.

Except, this was an OOC argument that the Wyrd = Taint, not IC. They can claim it all they want IC, but OOC you have to give in to logic.

Wyrm consuming Taint to produce Wyrd is identical to Gorgulu consuming Ethereal-based Life and producing Cosmic-based Life. It is a creature of power taking in one form of something and producing another.

From what I gather from other people's understanding, Wyrd isn't taint, rather, Wyrd came from the Taint. Taint was used in it's creation, so even though it's technically not Taint, it was born of it and therefore on some level has Taint.

So Nil is Shallamar, but a Tainted Shallamar, an unpleasant one (to some). It's Shallamar, but warped and no longer what it used to be.

First off, the Wyrm didn't make the Wyrd. Viravain and Isune's little thing did. It may have involved the Wyrm, yes, but it didn't just decide to take a crap and make something new.

Yes, Taint and Wyrd are different, but only to an extent. The IC way of describing it is "pretty Taint." Fae and imps are different as well to their own extent and similar as well. I still don't think you can compare the two either. Go ahead and say I'm in denial - not like you're biased as well.

Exactly! Wyrd is a form of taint. Nil is a form of Shallamar. Imps are a form of fae. An imp and a fae are still the same creature, just in a different form. Nil and Shallamar are the same place, just altered by the taint. By the same logic, wyrd and taint are the same, just wyrd is an evolved form.

If you can't remove the Taint, then Celest is fighting a pointless battle. Glomdoring should be evidence that things can be Untainted. Cause.. how does Celest plan to remove the taint? I'm betting they plan to rebirth things through some means of the Light.

But, based on the argument that something born of Taint is always Taint... Celest can never get rid of the Taint, even if they get rid of the Taint.

They're not exactly the same thing, but according to Hajamin, Wyrd IS a form of the taint.

So, essentially, Magnagora will always be Tainted. Celest loses. Good job. Even if you level Magnagora to the ground and build Celest V2, the ground will still be Tainted. And every Viscanti you "convert" and "purge" will still be Viscanti and still be Tainted. Every single citizen of Mag who has ever gone to Celest is still Tainted. In fact, the Pool of Stars is Tainted, because I gauruntee dark essence has been transformed into Light essence (ooh, so its just altered dark essence therefore, still dark essence) and put into the Pool of Stars.. so.. Pool of Stars flavored power is just altered dark essence, therefore still dark essence.. and so both the Megalith of Doom and the Pool of Stars is giving the same power to its citizens.. but we already know that anyone who draws power from the Megalith of Doom is Tainted.. therefore.. Celestians = Tainted.

Yay! Mag wins.

If the wyrm had just sucked up the taint, and left, I'm confident that Celest would be satisfied that Glomdoring was no longer tainted, and would be okay with their existance until taint->not taint stage was over, and not taint->light stage begun.

I cry everytime people completely miss what actually happened.

THe game had devoloped this wonderfull situation and the players just turn and so "meh, its the same thing, we don't care"

Incase people are unaware, Isune, Viravain, the Wyrdling(wyrm), Black roses, (combined with the bood of the people of Glomdoring), Mother Night, Crow, Fae, were all involved in the creation of the Wyrd.

But the Supernals don't just take Dark Essence and leave. They don't just take demon corpses and leave. They don't just take Demon Lord corpses and leave.

Celest is Tainted by your argument.

Fallen, Glomdoring IS tainted. Hajamin and I believe Terentia have both confirmed this at various points.

Fallen, just accept that people don't like things changing, and won't change.

They are happy with not making sense, and they are happy playing thier own game no matter what the game does.

This is the point, the wyrd forest is not tainted from an ooc view from an ooc view it used to be tainted.

Celest mostly in their ic view say that the wyrd is created from the taint and so there fore is just as bad and must be wiped out, there are celestines who dont believe the wyrd is tainted though but they are in the minority so its all good and still pretty interesting.

THINGS CAN CHANGE INTO OTHER THINGS AND NOT BE IN THEIR FORMER STATE!! *pant*
