Fireworks in Canada are on July 1st and on the New Year.
Lots of people also use them during birthdays and parties though too.

What's the point of lighting fireworks in NOVEMBER? You'll be all chilly and have to be wrapped up in jackets to watch them! In July you can just lie out and stare as they go kaboom.

I think V for Vendetta is based off of Guy Fawke's holiday, but its more than just that. You need to watch the movie for the really indepth feeling it gives about goverments in General. They just used the british because...the brits need a movie bashing their goverment. The beginning of the movie starts of with that rhyme and showing him trying to blow parliment up.

And! We shot fireworks when there was snow on the ground in germany. I think it was for...4 of July or Independence Day or a day where you shoot fireworks...anyway.

In my country we shoot fireworks only on New Year's Eve. Shame.
