Okay now......time to show your true colors, Iridel! Tell us who you are.
Daganev2006-05-24 22:09:37
Just so everyone is clear on the status..
Ashteru, Iridiel, Tekura, and Xenthos are alive. (in alphabetical order)

Iridiel2006-05-25 08:33:46
I am Moralis, true follower of Lady Viravain and I win with Glomdoring. Wish I had any special power, but that's not the case.
I guess that Tekura is Shikari, Ashteru is Syrienne and Xenthos is Jasper, right?

Jasper, can you explain why Requiem confused you with Nyla? Tekura and Ashteru have both their roles confirmed, but what about you?

Tekora2006-05-25 14:22:44
I'm not Shikari, I'm Shayle. I win with Glomdoring. My skill allows me to appear as scum to the spy.
And my name is TEKORA, not Tekura. Geez.

Iridiel2006-05-25 14:37:08
Sorry, was a typo...
But then, if you're not Shikari, who's Shikari? I am not Shikari!
But then, if you're not Shikari, who's Shikari? I am not Shikari!
Tekora2006-05-25 14:38:27
Maybe no one's Shikari. Maybe it was just Syrienne's power.

Only Ashteru is confirmed at this point.
As to why..? That is easy enough. Mother Night is fond of secrecy and is protective of Her own, considering how few of us there are at this point. Night actions taken against me have a chance of going awry, with interesting results... but I am not completely immune.
I would hazard a guess that this lack of immunity is meant to represent how my dreamweaving brother would later manage to steal into my dreams and disrupt my life's path, but during this period, that has not happened.
Iridiel2006-05-25 15:59:27
Tekora, why would you have a skill that allows you to appear as scum to teh spys? The scum already know who's scum (unless they cannot talk with each other?) and if a non scum sees you as scum then he's going to vote for you. So, what's the point?
Fishy.

Probably because there are (were) more than 2 groups. I know, I didn't understand at first either. But after Xavius and Torgith were ostracized, I realized what happened.
I should have said, my power is to make me appear as a member of the Treeripper family. Problem is, I don't know if they are (were) scum, because I wasn't officially part of them. I only appeared that way to the spy. Thus, we can deduce that there ARE (WERE) 3 (or more) groups at work here. I can confirm personally that two of those groups are the Glomdoring loyals (townies), and the Treeripper family.
As it stands now, there seems to be one scum left. No more games. I've put all my cards on the table, let's see what you all have.

I have not much more to add, and really a OMGUS FoS won't help things much. I severely distrust you, but I don't know if it's strategically sound to vote you or vote no ostrasize...
Xenthos2006-05-25 18:33:01
Hrm... I suppose you missed Iridiel and myself already "putting our cards on the table," then?
Anyways... was Adracunin a member of the Treerippers tribe, then? Being the spy, he would have seen you as one of their number, and if he wasn't a member himself he would immediately vote for you under the assumption that being a member of the Tribe meant that you were somehow opposed to the Glomdoring.
On the other hand, if he *was* a member of the Tribe... why would he try to call me Nayl and denounce me? It would seem to draw attention to the Treerippers.

I still don't see the point.
If you're a Treeripper, I guess you know who all the other Treerippers are, so they would know you're a fake.
If you're not a Treeripper, that means that anybody scrying you and not a Treeripper will think you're on a different faction and try to deal with you.

If we vote no ostracize, the scum takes down another one of us and then it's 2 on 1 tomorrow.
On that note, I severely distrust you, Iridiel. You're the one who called for us to hold off on ostracising Adracunin until she roleclaimed, and in the end, you ended up not voting for her anyway.
I guess I might as well share my last hunch. Being that Torgith and Xavius have been ostracized, that counts for 2 members of the Treeripper family. However, there is one person who has not shown up as of yet.
My father. Daganev Treeripper.
Iridiel, or should I say Father, I accuse you of falsely claiming your role. I accuse you of plotting against our Lady Viravain and our forest. I accuse you of being the last scum.
VOTE: IRIDIEL.
NOTHING MATTERS BUT GLOMDORING!

Bah, stupid me, not paying attention. Disregard the 'not voting for Requiem' part in my last post. Still, I smell fish, and Daganev still hasn't shown up. Signs point to either you or Xenthos, and you've been after Ashteru quite a bit this whole time. And it doesn't bode well that he was almost killed last night.
Wait a minute, what's this? I almost missed this.
Celest may center around devout purity, but not spirits. And considering you hit the nail on the head with Requiem/Adracunin, I call that too good for a guess. I think I've found our Treeripper spy.

Requiem has been inactive the last page but it may be that he has nothing to say. He talks about spirits and devout purity and that sounds... Celestian.

At this point, I have to agree with Tekora. The nature spirits have ALWAYS been an integral part of the Glomdoring... just look at Mother Night and Brother Crow, the two greatest Nature Spirits of all. So.

As twilight comes across glomdoring, Shikari appears again, asking who was it the was cuasing disent amongst those in Glomdoring?
Xenthos and Tekora announce that it was Iridiel who was actually Moralis, who was cuasing disent.
And with that, Shikari lifted Moralis up, and said, You can not force people to love the glomdoring, they must do it from thier own loyalty.. You are no longer welcome here!
And with that, everybody went to sleep.
When the sun came up again, the people of glomdoring found Xenthos and Ashteru, looking at eachother with a deep connection, standing over the sleeping body of Tekora, who looks like Shayle.
"Wyrmling!" shouted Xenthos, who in the daylight hours sounds remarkiably like Nayl Treeripper, I command you to remove Shayle from the forest, she has been working against me and our family since the begining. But, please leave Syrienne who for some unkown reason I have a strong bond to. Together, Syrienne and I will shape Glomdoring as it was always ment to be.

Hmm... Ok, Iridiel who was Moralis is dead.
Would you like to have the night sequence or just hear who everybody was?
Wait, it only took two to ostracize, but not a majority of three? And why no night sequence? Hrm. It can't be over yet!
Daganev2006-05-26 06:25:31
Now I am sure you are all curious, what the hell was going on...
Here are the charachters I had in the game...
Mafia Game- Glomdoring:
Treeripper Family (pro Fain)
Nayl Treeripper(Xenthos)- You are the wife of Daganev, and a member of Fain's order. You win when the Majority of members of the Glomdoring are part of the the Tribe. Your goal is allow Fain to get a political foothold in Glomdoring.
Torgith Treeripper(Archer2)- You are the Prince of the Treeripper tribe. However, you are not very political and so you easily avoid supsicion. IF a spy spies on you, you will be seen as a regular Glommie. You win when the Treeripper Tribe is the majority of the Commune.
You are the Treeripper tribe team. (aka Mafia)
Summer Court (Pro Viravain)
Gwynevere - You are the Queen of the Night, and secret leader of the Summer Court Hand picked by Viravain to be the first Guildmaster in Glomdoring, and the first to learn the Secrets of Night. Mother Night has tuaght you how to look into the souls of others, and so you may spy other people during the Night and discover their identity. You Win when the Summer Court is the Majority of the Commune.
Jasper - You are a member of the Summer Court (Viravain's order) You win when the Majority of members of the Glomdoring are part of the Order. IRONICALLY, I had this charachter set up, but we didn't have enough people.. that would have hurt Xenthos if we had a full game
The Moralis(iridiel) - You are The Moralis, favorite faeling of Viravain. During the first night, you choose two people to fall in Love with Viravain. After you have sent your Love potion laced caked to two people, you will be welcomed into Viravain's Order along with the Summer Court. (and you will discover the other order members). You win when the majority of people left in the Commune are members of the Summer Court. (i.e. You are the mafia, as Viravain's Order, After you pick two people, you
will be told who the other Summer Court members are, and you may talk to eachother during the Night ONLY to pick one person to be kicked out of Glomdoring. that is killed)
The first night, Iridiel picked Xenthos and Ashteru to fall in love with Viravain, but it backfired, and instead they fell in love with eachother., if one of them died, they both died. Because they were the only ones left at the end of the game, they won as team... Iridiel did not know this, I'm not sure what Iridiel thought would happen though
Glomdoring (townies)
Xavius(Shamarah) - You are young convert from Celest. Due to your previous teachings in Sacraments and your neutral Merian heritage, you may protect one person during the Night from being removed from the Glomdoring. You win if the Glommies win.
Adracunin(Requim) - You are a Spy for the Glommies. You may discover the name and role of one person during the Night. You win if the Glommies win.
Visaeris(Quidgyboo) - Old Leader of the Disciples of Crow, although you are now a regular member of Glomdoring, you still have ties to your ego and dreams. If you are removed from Glomdoring you may take one other person with you. (i.e. if you get killed, during day or night, you pick one person to die with you) You win if the Glommies win.
Syrienne(Ashteru) - You are the Ebonguard Champion, a Glommie who has two special powers. Your first power is that you may avoid being removed from Glomdoring once. You are so good compared to other Fighters in Glomdoring, that they are willing to take you back, once, despite your inflated ego. Your second power is that at any point during the day, you can say "I Demand Respect! I Slay ". Once You say this, both you and the person who disrespected you are kicked
from Glomdoring. You win if the Glommies win.
Shayle Treeripper(Tekora)- Daughter of Daganev Treeripper, You are extermely crafty, manipulative and apear to be power hungry. You will show up as a Member of the Treeripper Tribe to the Spy, even though You are just a normal Glommie. You win if the Glommies win.
Richter Carthan(Tsaephai)- Trusted member of the Disciples of Crow, you are on your own side. You may kick out one person during the night, convincing Viravain that they are supporters of Hart and Moon. You only win if you are the last person standing.
Wait, it only took two to ostracize, but not a majority of three? And why no night sequence? Hrm. It can't be over yet!
