Well at like level 30 you can Bash merian isle, and turn the corpses into the gorgog learder for tons of gold, karma , and experience. From then on your best just switching back and around merians, aslarans, and spectre isle.
If you don't like bashing, try questing, lusternia is full of tons of quests that can net awesome gold and karma..

And if you don't like questing or bashing? well get heavy into roleplay

don't like questing, bashing, roleplaying? Hrm...well there is that clan Gwynevere made.....

Herbalism isn't a bad way to make money either so I hear.

If you odn't like bashing queting or rping, then go play tiddlywinks with uncle herbert. Just make sure he has pants on.

We had a chess comp once in the early days of magnagora. It was awesome.

Another thing you might like looking into, influencing is really good karma and fairly decent experience at the low levels, plus fairly risk free

My favourite karma quests are the spectres for magnagora, you probahbly get something for the supplicants.

On topic:

I think what you are all missing is that peony wants to CREATE items and trades...

She mentioned she doesn't like cooking because it makes her hungry, reading the descriptions, thus she is interested in the creation aspect of the trade, not the money making aspect.

You don't need to put lessons into your tradeskill to join cartels and design things.

There's a difference between making a profit and gouging your customers. If those customers are from other organizations, I can understand. But when you do it to your own city/commune, it's bad business practice.
