Okay, because I am obviously a psycho who cannot fall asleep, I will instead create a thread for old farts to ramble in.
What do you remember most from your first days in Lusternia?
There were many things - Celest being owned constantly, the fact that I got the last denizen in Delport and it joined us because of that (Erion/Kalodan was following me and chanting puella!), but I want to focus on one other thing - Angkrag.
It seems that I had a masochistic pleasure of raiding it even back then (100-103 CE). It was easier of course, because you couldn't put guards in there (you also didn't conglutinate on allied territory and there was no karma, but I digress). However I wasn't very well prepared for the trip.
Take a look at my statue up from the Pool in Celest. You will see (apart from a very bad description!) what was considered top fashion back then - newbie gray trousers and tunic, red pimp hat (only design available!) and a silver stud earring (only design available! present from Ialie). Yup, no greatrobes. I had a staff, mainly because of 900-1200 gold per credits on the market (I still owe 10 to Shamarah though), but no shield. I also missed half of potions and most herbs - horehound used to cost 300 gold per.
We can only imagine what happened when our almost-nooblet Cubie entered Angkrag and started blasting at miners, only to be stopped by their elite fighting force: Val, Valek, Brona, Visaeris, Rexali, Chade, Bricriu (who once summoned me out of Celest and killed, being helped by an ur'guard novice known as Murphy), and occasionally the new guy - Daevos. I used to pray even more often than I do now. From the time's perspective, I should've just put a demesne there and walk past paralyzed/frozen people.
These were the... horrible days. Horrible from that time's point of view, but now that I look at it, I can't help but grin and laugh. So, any other stories to share?

I remember begging Cuber not to sucide.
Unknown2006-05-10 00:48:35
And when I did and returned with a new Cuber (because I regretted suiciding), you said that you don't recognise me and consider me a stranger.
EDIT: I also remember Ialie's evil twin, Ialen.

Losing level 50 and going down to level 20 in a day because Tuek decided that he didn't like it that him teleporting to me was a teleport onto guards.
Being griefed into annihilation because I was a member of the Geomancers.
Constant defence of the Demon Lords when I was a Nihilist.
Being butchered horribly by all and sundry - as a Geo-newbie-but-not-novice, once again - for my city.
Being screamed at by Kaervas because I did things with illusions that everyone else was doing.
Being enemied to Celest for sleeping on Spectre Isle, and it being used as an excuse to kill me.
raising the blob or Ladantine over and over again.
Doesn't say much, does it?

You do? I mean, uh, of course you do! Pay up!

Because I was angry that after all that begging I did, you went and died anyway, and then came back.

Yeah, thought so. I don't blame you - I have more fun in Serenwilde anyway.
Shamarah - I can pay you in gold. Taking the ancient gp-per-credit rates, that'd be about 15000 sovereigns. Deal?

Nothing important, but I remember going to Estelbar with a bunch of other Novices and Brylle and learning how to steal furrikin back from Acknor. It felt so good, to come from being a know-nothing probate in Achaea to actually feel like I was doing something. And Brylle was sooooooooooo nice.

I remember old Astral. I was a Celestian with linking ability, thanks to an overabundance of alts when the credit bonus came through. I got a high off Astral. For weeks I wasn't much higher than lvl. 6 or 7 - I spent all my time flying, transversing to Astral, and linking as much as I could before monsters showed up. I thought this was the coolest thing. I'd get up in the middle of the night, often without my parent's knowledge or consent, and link madly. It was fun.

Arguing with Anarias if the Taint was ok or not...
since I hadn't read the histories yet.

I remember getting Chade's last favor as Warlord of Magnagora, and Daevos' first.
Daganev2006-05-10 01:50:02
I remember giving that position to you and getting not even a thanx in return
Unknown2006-05-10 01:51:26
You used Furloch to clean the forge
Hazar2006-05-10 01:54:06
But your head was so spongy!

I remember killing Revan in my awesome demense tactics which included setting up a demense and then burrowing under ground until it was time for me to reset the demense attacks.

..I remember dying to Ialie and Munsia back when Munsia was even worse than she was now and Ialie was just goring me.

Better a forge cleaner than dead in the Glomdoring! (If you read my history, Glomdoring was always part of it, and Daganev saved Furloch from a thornbeast, thus getting himself a speach impedimant along the way, and making furloch his life-debt slave)

I remember being in Mag and destroying Celest, but I thought it was totally evil so switched over Also met Visaeris on astral, and then the next day he killed my alt on astral, which is a strange coincidence. And my female alt kept being hit on and it was very creepy Everything else is a blur but there was a lot of violence and hate and foolishnes... ahh
Oh and it's not terribly old, but Aebrin still has our SIX MILLION!@%#@!

I remember everyone in the guild dissapearing the day after the leadership-appointing meeting, sad they didn't get GM. Ironically, our first GM soon went inactive.
Also, that whole meeting was funny. We had worked out a careful system for who had the floor, and then some gods showed up and were like...'did you guys think of just talking? you might get more done.'

I remember starting life as a Moondancer. Then being tempted away to the Geomancers.
I remember helping figure out the Necromentate quest.
I remember... *sob* the Ubermanse. Melding from Delport all the way across to Angkrag was a horror.
I remember some of the most amazing misaethers from certain prominent figures.
I remember having involved divine.
