I'm not going to vote either way, but decided to comment just a bit on this power argument.
15% a day would be harsh, if that was ALL YOU WERE ALLOWED. However, there are a ton (Repeat, TON) of methods in which you can draw additional power every month, regardless of whether or not you make protector. Seriously, just go hunt the stupid earth plane for all of twenty minutes and draw more. Collect shadows, draw more. Go to fxcking Astral, it's not hard. When we have nice, sand-ified aspects, things become that much easier.
Glomdoring's power laws aren't strict people, they just help ensure that we always have a GROWING power supply, as opposed to a diminishing one.
In summation, our power laws are only strict if you're a lazy, non-productive bastard.
they are the same as Celest it seems, only better enforced.
Hazar2006-05-13 22:52:15
Better enforced because we have A, a stronger government, and B, a smaller population.
Acrune2006-05-13 23:22:16
Hmm, contest Catarin? Would be interesting. Just don't leave Aquas, I don't want Mitch to be champ, as you can smush him with or without power access Doubt he could even beat me

Sham starts ordering people to capture fae.
All the fae get converted.
Serenwilde goes on a 'kill all half-formed' spree.
Glomagora kills both while laughing, with shayle on the side somehow blaming it all on the Serenwilde with her brand of conceded circular logic.
Should be fun, I've never done apocalyptic before...
Acrune2006-05-13 23:35:00
Hey, I said it would be interesting. No where did I say things would end well
Shamarah2006-05-13 23:39:28
Heh, I wouldn't win.
Torak2006-05-13 23:49:21
If you want to be a dolphin and jump through hoops join Glomdoring, otherwise I think you would fit in with Magnagora.
Acrune2006-05-13 23:54:23
Magnagora's for quitters.
Arix2006-05-13 23:55:02
Come to Magnagora. We have... *reads a piece of paper* Snugglers?! That's not right.... *punches the cuecard guy*

The rest of us call those hoops 'roleplay'.

Well Sham, good luck on what you choose... you know what I would say... and the power issue isn't a big deal in Mag. It would take some getting used to seeing you there. I don't think I have once ever been in a room with you without being attacked... unless you were just running through real quick.
ferlas2006-05-14 00:59:15
If you say in celest and stick to the roleplay you want to do and celest dosnt change your going to keep getting screwd over by the people in power who are running the appeasement policys.
Your options are change your personal roleplay to suite the goverments appeasement or change your goverment by replacing them or leaving.

Arix2006-05-14 01:00:20
Celest is Serenwilde's
Unknown2006-05-14 01:05:53
This thread is to help Sham with a decision, stop using it as an excuse to make smart-ass comments about other orgs, it's really childish. Each city or commune has its pros and cons; Celest does what it does so to prevent a three/four-way war. It's not ready for that, that can be saved for the future. So stop being a bunch of arrogant jerks and try to deal with this in a civil way (yes I may have just contradicted myself but it has begun to really irk me)
Unknown2006-05-14 01:07:55
Well.. I say that you conest catarin
and maybe we could try to convert Queen Maeve into an Archangel or something
but seriously, I think that Fae should also chose the light. I mean, a Cherub is the most wubby-snuggy-giggly thing I've ever seen
Cherub > Fae
in other words
turn Celest and the Light into... THE SWARM

Though it would be cool if Shamarah came to Magnagora, I'd love to see him keep fighting the good fight in Celest. Keep to your roleplay, and if you're unable to change things, so be it... you can always move to a different organization after they kick you out.
Anisu2006-05-14 01:09:26
I'm warning you Sham, if you leave Celest I'll have to become even more melodramatic and shout love declarations and stuff towards you, so you better not leave!
seriously though, Celest is the city most capable of giving people burnouts, so you should do what you think is most fun. (if you are leaving Celest I would personally prefer you'd go Glomdoring, Magnagora already has tons of fighers and stuff and in the end it will become boring having most good fighters on one side). And if you think of leaving anyway try a contest first, I'll even pay for it.

Excuse me? Magnagora has a lot of good fighters, but so do Serenwilde and Celest. In fact, both of them are more than capable of handing us our asses in the right situation. Glomdoring is better if you're looking to play the underdog, but Magnagora is hardly dominating at the moment.
