I look towards the future where fighers will go mag or Seren. Celest has a serious problem keeping it's figthers for some reason. Most of them either go dormant, or leave. Which is no fun. (and to be honoust I don't think it has anything to do with the government)

I think I'm going to vote option 1 here. The whole Terenas (WC3 dude, not Serenguard moggy) line of action is pretty lame, especially since sooo many other people have done it. At any rate, you can at least push your luck with Celest for now, and if you get kicked out somewhere along the line consider your other options (Magnagora/Glomdoring, I think you'd probably prefer Magnagora honestly but that's just me) but not just yet.

I was really liking that finally it seemed Celest (embodied in you) was going to follow through on their beliefs.

I voted for stay anyway, just because if you change orgs the boredom might only be held back by the novelty. And then you'll have the same problems, but no conflict to give you purpose.

At first I voted for joining Magnagora because I'd love to see you there and I think you'd fit in well, but after thinking about it I decided you should stay and continue doing your thing in Celest because no one else is brave enough to stand up and that's incredibly boring...

Of course, if they do kick you out...-then- you know where to go!

It's kind of funny hearing all the opinions about how Celest is bending over backwards for Serenwilde. Catarin HATES the Serenwilde. After Lisaera did the whole flood thing she was completely ready to say everyone convert the fae but the Supernals all of a sudden decided to get talkative right about then and say how converting against the will was bad if they weren't Tainted and the Fae's program was changed so they literally scream about abduction if Celestia is even mentioned. So yeah. Her RP involves actually trying to really follow the light so she's not going to just ignore that because she's ticked off.

She posted on the city boards asking for suggestions on the Serenwilde issue. Did Shamarah suggest one thing? Nope. Amaru? Nope. Any of the people who are constantly complaining about the Serenwilde suggest one thing Celest should do about their insults towards them? No. So when it's time to actually put up all of the warmongers go quiet.

Am I annoyed that the fae thing got turned into a matter where to convert them is to explicitly go against what the Supernals say? Yeah, I am. Could things be twisted around so it really doesn't matter what they say? Sure, but Catarin isn't a blind fanatic so someone who is will have to challenge.

Do I think there are interesting avenues of roleplay for conflict with the Serenwilde that don't involve all out war (which perhaps five people, only one of whom is actually an active fighter want)? Yep. Is Catarin pursuing them along with other people who actually are interested in interactive RP that involves more than "kill it!"? Yes.

Shamarah's player is bored and wants something new and interesting to do. That's fine. If it's not fun, what's the point? But it's pretty clear the majority of you have no clue what's actually going on between Celest and Serenwilde so maybe you shouldn't post as if you did.

Gods, that's what irks me the most. I know that if it weren't for the supernals, you and others would cry the "converting fae" warcry, but the system is kinda mean. I mean, we could so convert fae but they don't want to, neither the fae nor the supernals.

Some fae are all happy being in Faethorn, some are happy being in the Etherwilde, some are happy being tourtured as nil in Etherglom. Fine, but if some Fae wants to actually be treated as slave, why can't there be a small percentage that could want to go to Celest or Nil?

Maybe they do know what's going on and you just simply are reading their posts wrong?

It doesn't matter if they know the whole shibang between Celenwilde, all that does matter is what they see happening and so thus they post how they see it. In all honest, from reading the forums and from not really seeing anything in Celest happening about the flood thing, etc, it does appear the Celest bends backwards for Seren.

I, personally, think that Celest should have told Serenwilde to F off...because their goddess freaking flooded the city and killed people! The two posts by the goddesses' were utter crap in my opinon (No offense Terenita and Liseara.) I think Celest should stand on it own two feet and not lean on Serenwilde, the same goes for them. Glomdoring really doesn't do that with Mag, nor does Mag do that with Glom. We're allies of sorts, but we don't rely on each other...not like Seren and Celest.

Shamarah you should stick to Celest and keep doing as you are now. If you do get kicked out then I would suggest that you do RP the whole "uber light person tries to destroy Celest because they think that this will help" and go to either Mag or Glom. I personally think that being a fanatic would be suited to Glom. Or you could go Mag...but I'm not sure on their policies with fae and converting to imps.

Wait wait wait... the Supernals said "don't convert the fae"? Ok... whichever God did that needs to get fired, beaten or whaever. Seriously... that's frikkin lame. LAME! let the god damned PLAYERS decide the course for Celest. Don't frikkin jerk them around and be like "hmmm, I don't want a Celest/seren war... I'll use the supernals!" Seriously... LAME ASS DIVINE.

They didn't say "don't convert the fae" they said converting any non-Tainted against their will was not in accordance with the Light. At which point we tried to determine if it was actually against the Fae's will since it could easily be argued it wasn't as...why follow if they didn't want to go? We could just make it a requirement to say "Hey, taking you to Celestia" and if they still came along with you then obviously they wanted to go. It was at this point that the change in the Fae was noticed, i.e. the screaming, yelling for help, and panic attack if Celestia or Nil is mentioned.

But it's not like it's some bizarre thing that the Supernals would say that. It's not exactly very Lighty to go about forcing conversion and it left room for player intepretation and such and had the Fae remained as they'd been before, it would have been more interesting in the long run.

So yeah, they made it so it was clear that it's against their will and what the supernals position is on such conversions but it's still up to the characters if they'll do it or not. Raziela will still take them.

Catarin I love you, you know this, but I think I should really give you some lessons in how to take something from the supernals and rape it so it suits your goal.

The supernals also said they didn't understand why any innocent and pure being wouldn't come to the light. Therefor the fae are no longer pure, the wyrd and moon have infested them and we must cleanse them immediatly in the interrest of their own well being!

(before anyone says anything, I already voiced that theory ICly to celestines and people at the pool, I just decided to not preach it to Celest's government since Anisu sorta doesn't want to anger Catarin again, ever)

In fact the reason why shammy wants to leave is because of the goverments decisions, first of all in the appeasement route its taking with serenwilde, the ban against fae and now the powerblock because shammy brought fae to the light.

If you stay in celest shammy and you dont follow the uniform appeasement roleplay thats being directed to serenwilde then your going to be constantly screwed over by the celest govermenet and lady tet for it.

I accually think Shammy's problems come from a rooted thing from Celest's citizens. The government does what most of it's citizens want. I may not like it, Shamarah might not like it, heck Catarin might not like it, but that is what politics is all about now isn't it doing what a majority wants.

Same thing, the goverment follows a harsh appeasement policy or all of celest supports a harsh appeasement policy.

Either way arissa its the same effect which involves shammy getting banned for 5 years and disfavoured because he went against serenwilde.

Well there's an objective reason for that, fae that want to go to Glomdoring still want to serve nature in some way, neither Celestia nor Nil contributes anything towards nature, so there's absolutely no logical reason for fae to want to go there.

It's not the same, government does what people want it to do. You really can't blaim them for that, which you are doing. If Celest where more lets not snuggly snuggly and more lets crush Serenwilde, then Catarin wouldn't need to punish Shamarah.
