EVERYONE IGNORE THOROS

JUST THIS POST, You can listen to him on other occasions if you wish.

Or we can ignore Ferlas for her stupid post.

No seriously, you compare inqu stripping vitae to force people to pray to getting buffed stats 1/3 of the time. Seriously its so stupid it must have been a joke and Im sure people would prefer to talk about valid things compared to listening to your jokes again.

Summoning people into enemy territory on prime is illegal and is an issuable offense.

Someone should beat Raizan into shape then since I know he has done this to Trasse and Luciden both.
ferlas2006-05-12 22:36:13
Find out who he did it to and make sure they issue the complaint, make sure they know it is illegal.

I remember when I was guild admin, I heard more bad things about my guildmates on forums and IRC then I did in the game. Whining that no one does anything about their actions. Yet there's nothing that can be done in the game when you complain in such a fashion. If Raizan is indeed summoning random people into Celest (pretty sure that's not even possible...) then talk to superiors and get it sorted. Or issue, if you think its appropriate.

Is it because you are ignorant, or is it because you are stupid, that you fail to recognize the unnecessary comments about inquisition from Murphy, when it was not even mentioned?

It is possible, but he'd be instantly enemied to Celest. So if you see him enemied to celest and unenemied constantly, then he was doing that, if not then people on these forums are lying.
Acrune2006-05-13 13:46:48
Hmm, was sure the star of Celest interfered with that somehow. Maybe thats just getting summoned out. chin.gif

Murphys comments were not unnecessary when people do use inquisition purely for the purpose of stripping vitae. As I pointed out an envoy has asked for this to be changed. Murphys point was perfectly valid when talking about prime deaths which is what we are doing, buffed stats have nothing to do with forcing people to pray what so ever which made your comments unnecessary.
Murphy2006-05-13 14:18:20
Not to mention you get -1 during the day, which lasts longer, and it only goes to int and str, no con bonus or anything else.

You can inquisition to strip lich. Really Thoros stop posting it's very clear you do'nt want to lose your skill which allows you to make people pray. No other org gets the skill to bypass vitae. The -only- reason you could want it to strip vitae is to force people to pray.

You already don't get suspect on liches when you kill them and they lich. Really inquiganking is lame and all envoys who are fair and unbiased should be pushing hard for it not to strip vitae. Stripping lich is fine since you can put vitae up too.

It wasn't mentioned, but it does relate, because inquisition can be used to make people pray.

Much as I loathe PvP, I'm going to have to side with the "everything's fine in Lusternia" crowd on this one.

I've been attacked maybe three times in nearly a year and a half on the game, and all of them before karma went into effect.

Contrary to some opinions, combat is not THE point of the game. But it's A point. If you don't want to be involved, don't get involved; don't make yourself a target.

Lusternia provides the best balance of PK vs. peaceful participation I've ever found on a MUD, and I can't see how this proposal would actually do anything to improve it.

Opposite, planar deaths are fun, downgrade prime deaths.

There is no -need- for such big losses in xp when you have to pray, it's rather silly actually. You just for some reason like to make people lost more than their dignity when they die. I would be totally happy if anyone i ever killed never lost any xp. Not saying that should happen but people's attitudes need to change.

This isn't achaea, the game and combat is totally different, teaming is rampant and there is no real honour of 1v1 fights, and when there is it's very scarce. There is much MUCH more organisational combat, and thusly requires a different set of XP loss balancing.

Malicia calls it titan population control but really its just causing other more loss. You should take that you killed them and they lost to you as enough. Any real serious titan basher would get transmigrate, and just heartstop on signs of being inquisitioned.

Agreed. I actually feel really guilty now - went with Thoros for two of these prime deaths. Sorry, guys! I don't like to make people pray. Off plane deaths I could care less about. Conglutinate = love.

And that is one way to kill the decent pk atmosphere we have here. Also people like ekard narsrm and daevos who do pk and have high levels wouldnt exist any more if you up the exp loss they wouldnt be able to keep their high level and pk at the same time.

How about some love for the people without trans planar. smile.gif

I'll side with the 'make pray loss less' team here.

I tend to feel that heavy losses from praying make people less inclined to participate in combat.
Maybe conglute loss could be increased slightly, and pray loss reduced somewhat.
