Well, I don't want to seem racist here to all of you... but, I have noticed, looking through many player pictures, and play pictures on the forum, that many of the top 30 fighters in the Basin of Lusternia, are Oriental... I wonder why, most steroetypes (points friend) would say because of their natural gaming skills, but I think it is just because they are who they are. Orientals populate lots of the Earth, so who thinks it is

Umm, what? I didn't think that there were that many Orientals even in Lusternia, but it doesn't matter. Natural... born... gaming skills? It's not genetically possible, there is no 'gene' for gaming. A stereotype is a stereotype so just leave it at that, and it's probably just mere coincidence that this happens.

Yeah, I think you have it wrong. Heck, I'm Asian and I'm not anywhere near good. It's probably that many games are first released in Asia (e.g. Ragnarok Online, FFXI, etc.) and -then- released in the US and Europe so the Asians have a head start. Not with Lusternia though.

I'm not asian. The only fighter I can think of off-hand who is asian is Athana, but then I make a point of trying not to find out anything about the OOC people behind the characters...

If anything, Asians should be at a disadvantage since this game is in English after all.

Oi, I'm asian too you know, and because we're in Asia doesn't mean we don't speak english or learn how to read English, we ain't savages or technologically backwards.

I'm well aware. It's just the inherent differences between Asian languages and European languages. I absolutely HATE HATE HATE learning Chinese because it's so... different (mostly because of its lack of phonetics). I'm quite far from calling Asians savage and technologically backwards.
