Heh, let's see: you give a lot of reasons why you didn't feel like sparring him, but did anyway. Then you called Avenger on him after you sparred him of your own free will. And then you think it's childish that he insulted you? I understand that it was an accident, but... I'm a pretty calm person, and if you did that to me, I'd be *annoyed*, and I wouldn't, say, trust your word on it necessarily. Also, note that foul language does not "borderline OOC" make. One of the most incredible roleplaying logs I've ever seen included a cocky young street kid saying, "Whose * do you have to suck around here ?"

Seriously, the first insults in this thread (log aside) did not occur in Weylin's post. Let's practice what we preach.

It'd probably be a good idea to log in. And you shouldn't double post (post two things in a row). Just combine the two into one post.

As for the combat bit of it, looked like Shaeden's Astrology didn't really go anywhere. For a team, that seemed to take a bit longer than I would have thought. Shaeden, you probably should have webbed or something because from what I know, justice isn't very good. Eroee generally sucks, no?

I have to agree that these insults against Weylin are increidbly uncalled for. However, I would like to leave a few tips for him and whoever else might read this.

- First, while profanity does not equal OOC, it DOES equal OOC unless it's something that would be said by someone in that world. 'Pussies' is not a word I have ever heard in Lusternia, and not one that any character there uses to refer to other people. It's a modern offensive term, and should be kept out, as should other examples (as in vale_kant's post above), unless they fit into the character and RP of the game/character/organization.

- Second, all things which happen on the forums are OOC. Do not bring your prejudices here, do not bring arguments from here back into the game. Weylin, this is for you specifically since after an argument on another thread, you left me a message in game saying 'Suck me, now we fight.' That message was purely OOC-ly inspired, and such things should not be brought into the game.

- The same also goes for everyone else. While we might all agree that Weylin deserved to get owned for his actions in New Celest, that's no reason to respond to his post in the same way. It should have been evaluated in order to help him with combat. After all, this is the combat section!

- Lastly, Weylin...be careful who you take your frustration out on. Narsrim might have killed you, but declaring all-out war against the Serenwilde and New Celest is not likely to help you accomplish your goals. You might end up frustrated both OOC and IC when you're jumped by people much stronger than you, and might end up in trouble with the Glomdoring as well. Simply find an IC way to deal with it. Nurture your anger against Narsrim, fight Serenwilders in other acceptable ways, practice, argue abouth Mother Moon and Mother Night - find other outs besides jumping people. You don't want to become a griefer!

Oh, and also - you will be much better in combat if you gain some levels. Your health is still a bit low to survive well for very long against most fighters. Get out there and gain some levels, though, and you have a lot of potential!
