I know nexus works with macs, but I am having a hard time figuring out how to set reflexes. So if anyone knows any good clients with an easy interface and is COMPATIBLE WITH MACS, tell me. If I see mush one more time I"m gonna shoot the person who says it! If I don't get good offers I"m going to be looking for simple coding help with nexus then, since it all confuses me and the few variables I did make won't...go...away.

Rapscallion... Is really quite crap.
HydraMUD was good while it lasted, but the fool of a developer disallowed the download.
Cantrip is quite good, but very buggy
TinyFugue is alright.

Unfortunately, there is nothing for Mac within 2 lightyears of ZMud and MUSHclient. (don't shoot!)

I would have to disagree there. In terms of what you can do with it scripting-wise, tf is probably on the level or both zMud and MUSH. The disadvantages (depending on who you are) being that it's command-line, so there's no graphical elements unless you are skilled at ASCII art, the inability to use your favourite scripting language like in MUSH, and the learning curve can be a bit steep. Once you're familiar with it, there's not much you can't do. My biggest frustrations with it are trying to do multiline triggers, and the lack of trigger 'states' as it were, but those are beyond most needs anyways.

If you want something easy to use and work with, Nexus is going to be your best bet. There's a help page floating around somewhere that gives examples of how to set up basic reflexes in Nexus, but I don't remember where it is off hand.

Haha, just like...half an hour after this post I found out my reason for frustration and now I'm all ok.

Actually I like TF way better than ZMud. I found it faster and much more suited to my style of coding. Also I like how it works better than Zmud. Never tried MUSHclient though.

Ok then.

Nothing for Mac is up to the GUI standard of Z or Mush. dry.gif
